2011 Consensus Rankings

This might be 1 of the deepest incoming fresmen classes in years..It seems almost every major college got at least 1 or 2 highly regarded recruits..

Johnny O'Bryant of LSU is rated number 41 on your list..But by season end,he's going to be 1 of the 10 best freshmen....Like alot of big men,he's a terrible free throw shooter and seems uncomfortable with the ball in his hands outside of 10 feet from the basket....But He hits the boards like Rodman and is a major presence inside..Once he adds some variety in his post moves and improve his perimeter game..He's going to be a very elite player at the next level...

Don't be surprised if Andre Drummond is among the top 5 candidates for College Player of the Year...That inside /outside tandem of him and Lamb is going to be exciting to watch...

Drummond won't be a top 5 player of the year Candidate. He won't be the leading scorer or rebounder on his team and that was before watching the scrimmage they played last week

Scrimmages are nothing like an actual game...And Drummond already has a pro style game..UConn other big men are overachievers ,but that'll be perfect for Drummond ..The other big men are experienced and will do the dirty work and allow Drummond to be himself and put up stats like 17pts/11rbs/3bks..

I like ADrummond UConn, ADavis Kentucky, TWrotenJr UW as the top 3 freshman.
