NBA Comparison: Brandon Bass
Strengths: A warrior. Explosive post player who enjoys contact and has an ornery demeanor ... Has the type of nastiness you like to see from an interior player ... An excellent defensive player who intimidates opponents with his shot blocking ability ... Hits the glass hard and uses his length and leaping ability well to clean the glass ... Willing to do the dirty work to help his team win. Fights for position inside the paint ... A fierce dunker, really takes it to the basket hard ... Has extended his range some, even shooting some three pointers in his junior season where he saw mild success (6-19)...

Weaknesses: Lacks a true position. Undersized for a power forward and lacks 3 skills. At 6-8, Rhodes' lack of height makes getting shots and grabbing boards on the next level a much greater challenge ... Offensive game is limited, and his statistics remained virtually the same from his sophomore to junior seasons ... If he wants to be a small forward, he has a lot of skills to develop including his ball handling, passing and outside shot ... Adding a more consistent midrange shot is imperative regardless of which position he intends to play on the next level ...

Notes: Considered entering the 2007 NBA draft but wisely chose to return for his senior year ... Will be a beast as a power forward in Europe if he doesn't find a spot on an NBA roster ...
