Averaged eight assists, but carried his team down the stretch with clutch shots, leading to school's first state championship since 2000.

Markus Howard

Gilbert Perry, 5-11, Fr.

Averaged 23 points per gmae, and really elevated his play in the postseason, including scoring 60 points on 23 of 42 shooting in his last two games against Corona del Sol.

Dorian Pickens

Phoenix Pinnacle, 6-5, Sr.

Had one of the greatest state championship game performances in state history, only to come up short on the final play.

Jake Toolson

Gilbert Highland, 6-5, Sr.

Bullish inside-outside player, who averaged 27.3 points and 12.1 rebounds, often fighting through double and triple teams for points.

HOW THEY WERE SELECTED

The American Family Insurance All-USA Arizona and All-State boys and girls basketball teams were selected by the azcentral sports high school staff. The All-Arizona team represents the best players regardless of division, while the All-State teams represent the best players in each division. The staff consulted coaches and used statistics and observations in making their selections.
