In the toilet-bowl game, CB&H were finally able to get into the win column. Being down by 6, they caught fire in the second half, and cruised to an easy victory against the winless Holiday Inn Portsmouth team.

Two losing teams from the previous day met in the early matchup. A fairly exciting game that went down the wire, where Chris Lofton hit a tough 3 point shot to give his squad a 1 point victory.

The early game of the day allowed for a second chance to see some of the players from last night. A poor shooting performance by both teams, Sales System took the early lead, and had no troubles closing the game out.

I’m glad it came down to this.
Maybe I am in the minority, but I am happy Davidson didn’t beat Kansas. I was rooting for UCLA to come back against Texas A&M.
Nothing pleases me more than the guarantee that the best team in college basketball will be selected from the four best teams in college basketball. Cinderellas are great and all – for two weekends. After that, it’s time to define a champion, and, in doing so, define a season.
