Very few college basketball teams get far into March without having a great backcourt. North Carolina had an outstanding combo with Ty Lawson and Wayne Ellington last year, both 1st round picks that took the Tar Heels to the title. This year there are some very good backcourts as well. Some are young and unproven, but could be lethal. Other backcourts are proven with plenty of experience and back for one more shot. Take a look at the top dozen backcourts in college basketball this year.

Patrick Mills
A source close to Patrick Mills informed NBADraft.net late Tuesday that Mills will most likely be waived by the Trailblazers this Friday so that they can sign Nigerian and former Spurs defensive standout Ime Udoka.
That means Mills, who is rehabbing in Oakland right now, would become a free agent.

While the sophomore class (2012) only produced 4 one and done players in last year's draft (Evans, DeRozan, Holiday and Mullens) and the class entered college without much hype, it is quickly developing into an extremely deep and talented class. A number of prospects have emerged giving this group a lot of intrigue. Look for this class to represent itself well in the next few (3) drafts with numerous first round picks.
