Thursday, June 24, 2010, will go down as the day John Wall was officially drafted and a million trades – none as substantial as rumors suggested – were made. Picks were swapped left and right, a general manager was fired, and it was a mess trying to sort it all out.

Live from the Westin in Times Square for the 2010 NBA Draft Media Day, all of the NBA prospects invited to the Green room were present as reporters gathered around each player's table like moths to a light in the dark. It's the day before the draft, and other than Wall and Turner, you really got the impression that nobody else really knew for sure what jersey they would be wearing next season.

We're a day away from the NBA Draft, and we're inundated with talks of rising stocks and all. But what if we wiped away all the posturing, all the hype, and simply boiled the NBA Draft down to players and teams and fits and talents?
