catoosanumber22Ok, Nebraska sucks cock. Also, OU has some awesome recruits coming in, like Cameron Clark and T.J. Taylor

delfamParticipantI’d have to agree with Iggy, those teams are returning some good players from last year and are getting amazing recruits, nobody else will contend, except Kansas.

JNixonParticipantThere will be no suprise team. The best teams next year will be Texas, Kansas State, Baylor, Kansas and Mizzou. The rest of the teams will be the ugly stepdaughters

JNixonParticipantClark and Taylor are nice prospect, but not ones that are good enough to get you out of the cellar. Especially if they’re your best 2 players.

cookielogicParticipant–K-state only lost clemente…they can overcome that for certain with Pullen and the development of Wally Judge
–Baylor loses Udoh and Carter but Jones joins a returning Dunn so they are set.
–Mizzou lost their starting backcourt but return Dixon and Denmon who will be better, add a couple of top 50 recruits and Ratliffe from the JC level and they are in contention to win the conference.
–Texas loses James and Pittman but add Joseph and Thompson, if Barnes learns how to coach they will be tough.
–Kansas, having won 6 straight conference titles probably will not be favored to win their 7th straight but they do have the pieces to do so. Marcus Morris improved exponentially last season and if he continues to do so will be a first team conference player. Taylor has potential, Markieff Morris can play, Little and Releford red shirted last year and could have been starters had Henry played else where. Thomas Robinson is energy personafied and add Josh Selby it is a solid team. Possibly add Terrence Jones who is in Lawrence on a visit right now and it gets better still for KU.
–Texas Tech made the NIT this season and they return their best players Singletary and Roberson
–Nebraska has a good young team that got better over the course of last season they will improve
–Colorado has a few good players, Burks the frosh of the year in the conference…but they will have a new coach so wait and see if they improve
–OK State loses too much to compete
–Oklahoma lost everything and are in peril
–Iowa St. lost Brackins and Gilstrap fom an already bad team so not much hope there
–Texas A & M loses a couple of good seniors, returns a few solid role players but will likely be a little drop off next year.0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/26/2010 - 11:01am #295623

catoosanumber22We also have an amazing three point shooter and hustle player Cade Davis, and two sophomores to be that have tremendous upside in Andrew “fitz” Fitzgerald and Steven Pledger and other recruits like Tyler Neal and JC transfers Nick Thompson and C.J. Washington, and a very very motivated coach who knows he must win now or he will be gone

JNixonParticipantI’m a little scared of the Clemente loss though. Yea, he shot the ball too much at times was the only guy on our team that could get his own shot whenever he wanted, and he was a floor leader. I think the incoming freshman Shane Southwell and Pullen will have to replace him by committee, unless Martavious Irving or more likely Nick Russell step up big-time by next year and proves they can run the show..I wouldn’t doubt Coach Martin though

JoeWolf1Texas Tech, in my opinion, will be an improved team next season. Pat Knight has actually done a pretty decent job there and they had a pretty solid season, and NIT run. They are bringing back their top two scorers from last season in Singletary and Robertson, while losing on a couple of major contributers. They have a pretty solid recruiting class including a JC power forward name Paul Cooper who will contribute right away, they also have good team chemistry. I’m not saying they will be at the top of the Big 12 next season, but I’d expect around a 20 win season and an NCAA birth. Oklahoma State will greatly miss Obi Muenolo and James Anderson, I wouldn’t be surprised if they fell to a similar level Texas Tech was last season and Tech rose to a similar level as OSU last year. I think OU will still be a down team, and not recieve an NCAA brith, and KU, Texas, and KSU will remain at the top with Baylor and Missouri close behind.

JNixonParticipantCatoosanumber22, your white and called me that. Horrible. Grow up. smh.
Anyway, I’d say about 10 ppg 7 rebs and 1.5 blks is what I’d expect from Wally Judge. If he grows up like I think he will, he’ll be the starter at PF next year with Curtis Kelly moving to C, and play about 25 mpg. He was too raw offensively, and too foul prone and inexperienced on D to be as big a factor as he was expected to be.Jamar Samuels is more polished offensively than Judge, but he played much better last year off the bench as a matchup ploy, and I expect him to continue to come off the pine.

McWinningParticipantRemember this name. Freddy Asprillo he is gonna make a huge difference for K-State, i think Texas, Kansas State, Baylor, Kansas and Mizzou might be all top 15 teams. Im picking Mizzopu to win the conference but any of those teams could win the conference (Texas is really good out of conference, but awful in the big 12 just look at last year).

JNixonParticipantI haven’t seen Freddy play yet, but he is the EXACT same size as Luis Colon, who was hands down the worst starter of all the teams in the top 25 in college basketball. I really hope he’s not another Colon, so I’m not getting my hopes up.

McWinningParticipantHes not like Colons cock at all. As a cocking freshman he cocking averaged 14 points and 9 boards but failed grades and had to go to a cocking junior college. He shot over 53% too so hes an efficient scorer, i would guess around 12 7 1 will be his cock stats.
