    With the summer usually consisting of just the typical offseason for NBA fans with the draft, free agent signing and summer league basketball. This year will be different with the start of the BIG3 league. I’m pretty excited to check it out and have some different type of basketball to watch in between seasons with some familiar faces.

    What are everyone else’s thoughts about the BIG3 league?

    is Iverson…

    you really wanna see Kenyon Martin or Bonzi Wells ball again?  Maybe Chauncey…

    but if you get Iverson Shaq and Kobe, or…

    Duncan Billups and TMac…

    then its interesting.  As of now, I think its more hype than substance.  

    The only guy i wanna see play is Iverson, and his knees are shot.  

    I wish they’d bring back some guys like Tim Legler, but the oldheads that guys like me never got to appreciate, are still too old now.  Like Chris Mullin or Tim Hardaway would be great, maybe Scottie.

     

    BTW, you see Tim Hardaway say that Iverson stole his move, that Iverson carries, and that its his move everyone is trying to copy today, and he was upset about it…haha

      i’m not expecting them to play like their prime years, but yeah, I’m excited to see some familiar faces play. 

      I think I remember hearing Jason Williams is playing. I always loved watching him play. I think it’ll be fun to watch. That would be cool to see some of the older guys play. They could have a senior league lol.

       

      Haha yeah I just saw that earlier, too funny.

     Can’t remember where is this being televised I’ll definitely be watching. Lot of guys I’m interested in seeing, White Chocolate will be fun. He still plays a ton and last I saw him in the Celebrity game he looked like it. Speaking of that game is Baron Davis in it? That was painful to watch him, he was playing how the NBA all stars were playing in their game but you could just tell he’s been spending the last few years eating a lot and doing whatever producing/Hollywood stuff he’s into and not hooping a bit. If he is in it I’m guaranteeing his team is going to get destroyed.
