    HOUSTON… who would’ve guessed.

I picked Tulsa to win the conference tourney. Some people picked Memphis, UAB, & even Marshall. Most probably picked UTEP.  But in the end it was the hot shooting of Kelvin Lewis that gave Houston the crown.  Aubrey Coleman has a real chance to elevate his stock in the NCAA tournament.

Some team’s bubble just popped because of this upset… likely Ole Miss, Miss. St., or Virginia Tech

Probably Ole Miss for sure is out now…It’s not looking good for VA Tech either.

Houston didn’t really play great, UTEP couldn’t score though. They got cold. Houston did do enough of the little things to get the win.

I wasn’t all that impressed with Coleman this game. This was my 1st time watching him play. At least I get to see what he’s about (hopefully what he’s REALLY about) in the tourny.

They are going to have to defend better than they do..That’s their problem

dont put too much stock into the teams losing in the conference tournaments. the teams they are playing they have played twice before so they know more about them then a team they will play for the first time in years in the ncaa tournament. once it gets to that point its about matchups and learning on the fly
