grizz_fan7ParticipantHere are a few trades I came up with
#2 for Beasley
#2+#27 for Horford+#19
#2+Arthur for Randolph+#7
#2+Arthur+#27 for Love+#6
#2+Arthur+Laker pick+#27+Conley+Darko for Bosh+Bad contracts
#2+Arthur+#27 for Rondo
#2+Arthur for Landry+Brooks+Scola
#2+#27 for #3+Thabo
#2 for #4+Thompson
Just draft Rubio0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/10/2009 - 9:02am #159927
d-grizzlyParticipanti like a few of these atleast lol. boston’s not giving up rondo. houston wont give up all that for the pick. beaselys going nowhere. i like that you want rubio to be drafted. pound it

auberParticipantI can only see maybe 2 of these happening

grizz_fan7ParticipantWhich ones?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/10/2009 - 9:07am #159933
knicksfreakParticipantThe last 2 trades.

auberParticipantI can see maybe the Bosh deal happening. I think the 2-4 swap is apparent though.

grizz_fan7ParticipantI think they are all very realistic except the trade for rondo and the trade with houston

d-grizzlyParticipantso aub, you a bigger fan of hawes or thompson? being gasol is an inside man with a below average outside shot. i’d like to say getting hawes and the 4th would do wonders. hawes=everything gasol does but with an outside shot and better shot blocker. plus he’s about 30-40 pounds smaller and an inch or two shorter.

auberParticipantI think Hawes is more versatile as a 4-5 than Thompson is as a 3-4. I just think Thompson complements the team better personally. I watched them both last year on the NBA package and although Hawes shows glimpses of being the better player of the two, I just think he’s way to inconsistent for his own good.
I don’t think the Kings will give up Hawes in a 2-4 Swap, but Thompson’s a huge possibility. We drafted Donte Greene and traded him away so I’m kinda skeptic on us trading back for him. I think if the deal happens and we acquire Thompson we draft Evans at the 4 and move mayo to point guard as he’s been demanding to play. Mike Conley then becomes trade bait or a back up point guard for our team.

gatorheelsParticipantI think Evans would be better at PG. Mayo wants to play PG?? I would rather have Thompson over Hawes.
Out all those trades the one with the Kings is most likely to happen obviously.

auberParticipantMayo’s made it perfectly clear that he wants to run the show and I’m dying to see it happen.

d-grizzlyParticipantif mayo was to slide to point guard, could memphis just go for harden as the best sg in the draft?
mayo, harden, gay, (hypothetical hawes, thompson, lee), gasol.
so is mike on the trading block? anybody know?

d-grizzlyParticipantconely go for the hawes or thompson and the 4th?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/10/2009 - 9:43am #159977
knicksfreakParticipantIf thats the case then I think they should pick Harden. Evans needs the ball in his hands to do well.

gatorheelsParticipantHarden would a great pick if Mayo moves to PG.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/10/2009 - 9:48am #159981
d-grizzlyParticipantthat’s good. i like the idea of harden finishing with either hand. plus, if the grizz ended up with that lineup….wow. mayo’s just about 6’5 with shoes. hardens 6’5 with shoes, gay’s 6’9 with shoes, and gasol looks as if he’s 7’1-7’1.5 with shoes. We’re talking height here. plus i think mayo would cause alotta trouble for point guards with his height and his defense.

Untouchable JParticipant#2 for Beasley-Miami should trade Beasley sooner than later b/c its obvious to me Wade doesnt mesh well w/ him, and i think wade is to fault. However not for this #2 pick. Wade will NEVER play with a true PG such as Rubio, he needs the ball 2 much.
#2+#27 for Horford+#19-Makes no sense for ATL, they have no bigs as it its, cant give up your only quality 1
#2+Arthur for Randolph+#7-1)Randolph’s value at this point may actually trump the #2 spot, he’s not going anywhere, 2)GS SHOULD be a key trade bait team w/ all those guards, but Memphis is set at the 2 and 3, so GS has nothing for them
#2+Arthur+#27 for Love+#6-WTF, U must really love Love.
#2+Arthur+Laker pick+#27+Conley+Darko for Bosh+Bad contracts-I’d do it for both teams since Bosh is gone
#2+Arthur+#27 for Rondo
#2+Arthur for Landry+Brooks+Scola-Ok you must be a Houston fan..are u serious?
#2+#27 for #3+Thabo-Reasonable…Finally!
#2 for #4+Thompson-No, Thompson’s a beast,
Just draft Rubio0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/10/2009 - 3:12pm #160320
BosteritoParticipantI actually see this trade happening. Im not saying that they should, but its not such a bad idea. If Miami gets the 2 pick for Beasley, they wil not draft Rubio. Theyll draft Thabeet. The Heat need size, and O’Neal isnt adapting to the big man role. If they could start Thabeet, then O’Neal can take Beasley’s spot at PF. I dont think its that bad.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/10/2009 - 3:22pm #160325
birdman1113Participantif the heat trade Beasly then wades the only player on their team who can score and if they take Thabeet theyll be even worse.

BosteritoParticipantThats true, do you think that the same trade but for Haslem might work? Im from MIA and I dont like Haslem that much. Maybe even Haslem and the 2 2nd rounders
