festar35ParticipantAt the end of 1st quarter the Clippers have 46 points against Houston. Houston is really in need of a wing defender who is good on the ball as they get broken down so easy. Asik does a good job defending the paint, but needs help down there as well.

TallmanNYCParticipantSeriously. You are suggesting that Houston’s problem is that they need to bench Harden and Chandler? I mean you just said they need a wing defender. So I’m assuming you mean they need to replace their SG and SF. I’ve got another suggestion. They play those guys, make the playoffs this year, let them get a few years of experience, and role with them and see how they run when they are in their mid to late 20s. This is pretty much the youngest team ever in the NBA. And they are good. This team doesn’t need much more than experience and the benefit of the doubt from the refs.

festar35ParticipantWhere did I say that Harden or Parsons needed benched? In saying that you raise an interesting point, if you benched Parsons for a defensive wing in the line-up (Like OKC – Thabo/Martin, SAS – Green/Manu, Memphis – Allen/Bayless, NYK – Kidd/Smith, LAC – Green/Crawford) then that could add a great punch of offense to your bench.
A lot of the top teams have that defensive player in their starting line-up, Miami has Battier as well.

BenchWarmerParticipantBenefit of the doubt from the refs… isn’t James Harden leading the league in freethrows attempted? Lol

BenchWarmerParticipantSeriously! Are you suggesting trading Harden and Parsons in a package for Tony Allen is going to solve Houstons problem! Lol

kingofbumsParticipantchandler parsons is actually an above avg defender…he was praised by kobe last year about it. i havent watched the game so obviously i cant really say much about it right now. maybe its not even his fault? lin and harden arent really known to have great defense anyway

Toronto16ParticipantHouston sucks without Harden. Hopefully they get Dwight Howard next year, wouldn’t that be awesome? Asik, Howard, Parsons, Harden and Lin. Wow.
