Oregon is beating #2 Arizona right now halfway through the second half in Tucson. More importantly however is that Aaron Gordon was just taken to the locker room with an apparent left leg injury. Hopefully it’s not too serious especially after just losing Brandon Ashley this past weekend.

I’m still staring at the box score that says he went 2 for 11 from the free throw line.

He really needs to work on his free throw shooting – under 50% on the year – and he is under 40% in the last 5 games.

the more i watch him, the more i think he’s going to be a tweener at the next level.

he has no perimeter skills and is a bad shooter. so cant be a SF.

he’s not big enough to bang down low and doesnt have any real post moves.so cant really be a good PF.

      he’s jus athletic.

if i had to guess it’ll be that he’s going to stay another year in Arizona to improve.

How did Joe Young do? Idk if he is an NBA player but he’s going to make good money overseas at the very least.

when people were dissapointed in Derrick Williams and  Michael Beasley who were skilled and dominant in college..

sorry but I don’t know how you can take him top10

guy wants to be a SF with barely over 40% from the line and has i believe pretty shaky handles but thinks he can even play point..

as for PF perspectives you just have to say nike hoop summit measurements 6’9 212lbs.. and still even PFs are supposed to shoot better

Look at his Bone structure and shoulder size, he can put on muscle mass in a few years with NBA trainers next to him, he’s going to be a Pf that can defend and rebound at a high level, wait until he fills out before you call him a tweener, he’s a good basketball player and makes a lot of plays for his team…I think he’ll return to school and get stronger while developing a few more skills in the process, he’ll be fun to track going forward…

so 6’9 ALREADY 250 and still with body to put more muscle Julius Randle gets called undersized but you think Aaron will be "beast" while he probably won’t be bigger than 230 in a couple years or he would loose some ahtleticism..

I’m not saying he isn’t ‘fun’ to watch and won’t be good..but i think he can be Faried type of good player, not a star

I have Randle ahead of Gordon on my big board this year, and I’m a huge fan of both players…

I think people forget this kid is a freshman Forward for a very good Arizona team, take away his impact on that squad and they are probally not as good as they are today…

I think Aaron Gordon goes back to school for one more year and hits the gym like a madman, he’s got that fire it takes to be a very good player at the next level, so does Julius Randle, who I feel could shut a lot of people up about those issues you brought up (Undersized, lenght, skillset, ect., ect.)

Gordon will put on at least 15 to 20 lbs by the time he’s drafted and plays a full season of NBA basketball with weight and strenght trainers at his side, if he smarts he adds another 10 to 20 pounds after between the lenght of his rookie contract. If he ultimately measures out to 6’9 250 with his motor, athletism and knack for making plays at both ends of the court, He’ll be worth the wait and I’d invest a Top 10 pick in this year, we draft on potential and AG has great potential IMO

he can try to add as much weight as possible,he has no post moves. he’s not comfortable with his back to the basket. im not sure Gordon even knows his real position right now.

also, adding weight at a high rate can really affect your athletcism and quickness. its not as simple as adding about 10 pounds on one offseason and maintaining your athletic abilites.

i dont see him being a star player or even a 2nd option/3rd option. he has a role player written all over him.

i would not waste on top 10 pick on him.im not sure i’d use a lottery pick on him.

Would be good NBA numbers. He is young. His shooting is not there but the rest is. His free throws are f ing atrocious though. I thinks he will be a good pro. In the 20’s a steal
