Adidas also has him on the front page of the ESPN NBA section right now.
He's only played two games this season, but it's good to see he's getting his image up. He's always been under the radar for the most part, so it's just good to see them putting his face out there.
As far as an injury update, he should be returning to the floor in the next week or so.
I can go through this board and single out "wack" posts.
And even if it is wack, I can afford one or two consider I have 9,533 un-wack posts to back me up.
Posting about my boy's first major commerical is legit to me. I happy for him and how far he's come personality wise.

This is not a wack post, people are just hating nowdays, and IB is right, Addidas is really treating EJ well. They really seem like they're banking on him to become a star in this league. Hopefully he gets healthy, and goes back to averaging 23 a game, hopefully they'll pair up Anthony Davis with him.
And I don't care if I get negs, but once someone gives one neg, everyone else gives negs, and when some people give positives, everyonelse gives positives. I had two writeups the other day, one about the Heat-Thunder game, and another about Point Guards. If I had to choose which I would submit to a teacher as an essay, I would choose Heat Thunder, instead that thread gets -4, and the other thread gets +21. And then you have people that would rather socialize than talk about basketball. Still the best forum on the Web though.
And out of curiostiy, when you say he's come a long way personality wise, just cuious to know what you exactly mean by that, since you've known him personally for a while now, and how exactly do you know him, just curious.
Yea, I actually thought it was coo that Adidas is backing him, especially considering he hasn't even played this season. I mean, they're putting him in prime time ads for the most part. That commercial has been on tv quite a lot.
He's coming a long way personality wise because he's really a shy kid who's socially awkward. I never thought I'd see him with his own commercial lol.

Not sure why every post in this thread Indiana posts gets hate, I know points don't really matter, but it's pretty immature to give someone negs when they really didn't say anything controversial or blasphemous, or just because you don't like them.

I don't think it's stupid because, well, I thought the same thing when I saw it the other day on TV. Maybe he should've written somthing up, but if you've known someone through their ups and downs, you do have the right to post a video of their first comercial.
You are new to this forum, and you will quickly learn that what Tounge-Out-Like-23 was talking about when he said that there are definatly stupider threads, and there ar threads that have no meaning. To be honest ever since the lockout there aren't very many quality threads here, and no one other than MikeyV writes up anything interesting, and smart guys like Indiana Basketball and BTPH and Joe Wolf can only post if there are quality threads to post on. But I will admit that thinking about what to write about is pretty hard too, lol.

I just saw the comercial on TV, and I think it's sort of funny how Addidas needed someone to say his name so people knew who he was. As a hardcore fan I was 80% sure it was him before that guy said his name.

Boywonder32 clearly has more than one account. It's really not that serious. The style of writing reminds me of youngdave. And I think it's funny that the profile pulled up on boywonder says he's from detroit, which just happens to be where youngdave is from lol. We got another Quincey on our hands.
I was posting on this site before there were points, etc so it's not really a big deal to me. If I wanted to, I could go bump me one point on every post.

What do you guys think Gordon will be able to do once he gets back? One thing for sure he'll be the go-to guy along with whoever they draft.
And Indiana Ball, since your close to EJ, I don't mean to put you on the spot or anything like that but which way do you think he's leaning as far as contract situations go? Do you think he'll take the qualifying offer or sign for big almost max money elsewhere and hope NO doesn't match?
I really like his game, if he continutes to get stronger and work on his finishing skills I really think that can take him to the next level. When healthy, he's a threat for 20 anywhere, but on this Hornets team, he could'vve probably put up 25 a game, considering he was putting up 24 a game in LAC before he had that injury last year. Wonder if someone will take a risk and offer him the max. Maybe the Pacers? It seems unlikely though, they're probably saving for George, and will have to give Hibbert his payday soon.

Addidas and Nike rule the league. D Rose got 250 million from Addidas and 94 from the Bulls. It was rumored that even though the Bulls could have made the best play for Dwight as far as talent and youth swap he wanted no wiff of the Windy City, because Addidas would prefer there two stars in different markets. Before Lebron left Nike had that clause about him playing in larger markets. Eric Gordon is my boy and good for him, but he hasnt played this year. Addidas must have alot of faith in him.
Regarding his contract, I couldn't even tell you. I wouldn't be surprised if he just took the qualifying offer and then became an unrestricted free-agent. Despite the fact he says he likes Monty Williams and has been saying the right things, I don't think he wants to play there.

I dont "hoop" but I have played basketball before.. Once was at a Rec Center and I score 96 points over the course of 6 hours alone there.. The other time was when I bough NBA Live 07.. It caused me to vomit because it was such a horrible game.
Those are the only 2 times, ever, for me..
