2nd Idea
Not bad in theory for either team except...
Raptors would not really want Collins - maybe throw in a 2nd round pick instead.
The Raptors are looking to move Lowry for internal reasons, so they would be without a starting point guard if they traded Jose.

Nuggets aren't giving up
Nuggets aren't giving up Kosta and Mozgov.
Clippers would be dumb to make that move, or any at this point.
I like the Pacers idea though.
Anyone else starting to think that Lowry has somewhat of an attitude problem?

Granger is mainly a gunner.
Knee problems are no good with a heavy contract. Augustine sucks I would rather start Bradley. Check the C's record with Bradley starting at PG. Lowry is an obvious problem. I would stay away from him.

Lowry is a problem until you
Lowry is a problem until you put him in a locker room with KG

Firstly, I understand these deals will not happen and Boston is more likely to trade for a cheap pointguard and play out the year. But here are some scenarios that could help the the Celtics either make a run or blow it up.
Secondly, I know I'll be negged like hell, but hey, who doesn't on this type of posts?
Here are the trades.
1. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=a7pvjgv
Veeeeeeery unlikely but reasonable if Boston wants to push towards the playoffs. Pacers get rid of Granger and get three offensively talented players in return with one of them also being good on defense(Green). The Celtics get a pointguard who played well a year or two ago, which is better than nothing(litterrally, they have 0 Pg's on their roster) plus Granger who
might be a spark whatever role he plays and help them push towards the playoffs. Plus they get Mahinmi who is a solid defender under the rim and might even help them with some rebounding.
2. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=bxpukf6
Celtics get a solid Pg with an expiring contract and the Raptors don't have a good Sf on their roster. I know Green has a skillset similar to Derozan's, but Demar is naturally a Sg and these two would work well on defense. This is unlikely though because of Green's contract.
3. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=b6xffdf
I like this one. Celtics get a veteran pointguard who can replace Rondo well as well as two cheap big men who can help them with their rebounding and low post defence which Boston needs desperately. Denver gets KG who is still one of the best Pf's today and will mentor the young big men. Plus another shooter in Terry is always good to have.
4. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=a3m4nqj
Asuming the Celtics blow it up and the Clippers go to win now mode. Celtics get a point guard with potential and Odom's expiring contract. Butler's contract doesn't look good but ends after next season. Clippers get a very good piece for their title run in Pierce and a young and promising big man.
