    3–6

why does he look so small?

like i said before kid is a terror on the break, has very quick change of direction.

He looks skinny, but not short looks like he’s a legit 6’5.

His ability to push the ball on the break and his quickness in the half court rivals any 2 guard in college I bet my last dollar on it.

Best SG in the nation? Not sure about that. Best prospect at SG (if you count ‘Bazz as a SF)? Maybe.

It doesn’t really matter what his height is if his 6’10 wingspan is legit.  It sure looks like it.

Kid is impressive. If he is 6’5 he’ll be a top 5 pick. He reminds me of Russ Westbrook so much

    @ Siggy:

Yep…Best SG in the country…..dude has some tools you can not teach

    @ Taylor Gang Mike:

Sure does, he just has to learn to stay under control, but potential is through the roof.

Being the best SG right now does not = having the greatest potential.

I’d say CJ McCollum is a better SG than him right now, but CJ doesn’t touch Archie’s long term potential.

I like this guy more than the next but I still think Shabazz is better.  Goodwin is gonna be slept on this season and in the draft but whatever team snags him is gonna be very happy this time next year.

He’s a do-it-all player with no weaknesses in his game.  He can easily be a 18ppg-5apg-4rpg type of guy in the L.

I want to see him with the ball more in his hands, dude has legit handles. The way he gets to the rim and the strength and explosiveness he shows is very Tyreke Evans/ young joe Johnson like

Yeah, I thought he plays a bit like Joe Johnson, I posted once that I read somewhere that he was often compared to Joe Johnson in his high school career.

Outside of them both being long-armed wings from Arkansas, I don’t see the Joe Johnson comparison at all.  Joe beats his man with his tricky handle, the crosses, hesitation moves and step backs.  Archie beats his man with straight speed, his first step and aggression.  The name Westbrook was thrown out there during the telecast. I can see that one a bit.  Sprewell’s another guy he reminds me of.

Joe is a lot like Archie when he first started his NBA career, he was very inconsistent during his time with Boston as all he tried to do was beat his man until he perfected his handle and refined his jumper. Archie has the same potential as he has good handles and nice form on his jumper

Joe always played at that mid-pace, always under control and beating his man with skill instead of sheer aggression.  I wouldn’t call Archie’s handle good. He’s just ultra aggressive and athletic like a Westbrook or Spree.

Archie Goodwin is probably my favorite player on Kentucky right now but Rodney Purvis is a better player and prospect.
