Tobe BryantParticipantIs Trevor Ariza somewhat overvalued?? Will he suffer from the same thing that James Posey did last year?? …I also think that this will be good for James White for some reason (him playing behind Ariza and having that same potential)

bluedevils12Participantariza was great with the lakers becuz he was a 3rd or 4th option. u didnt have 2 depend on ariza scoring baskets on back 2 back possessions. he is nowhere near the sam player on a yaoless rockets team. he will be asked 2 do more now artest has left and mcgrady isnt anywhere near himself so it looks as tho ariza is SOL at the moment

knicksfreakParticipantAriza is better than you give him credit for. He can put up big numbers as a 1 or 2 option. He has shown promise at every level. Now that he is a headline, watch out. Maybe not perennial all-star but I bet he makes 1 or 2.

knicksfreakParticipantI know its a reach but if he is a 1 or 2 option, I think he could slide onto an all-star team.

Chicago1980ParticipantHe is the prooduct of the lakers system his jump shot is not mechanically sound he cant create his own shot he is a decent defender but i dont think he is the type of player that will turn a team around he is a good role player i dont think he will ever be a #1 or #2 option maybe a 4th option.

JNixonParticipantClassic case of good playoffs equaling overpaying. A classic case of a system player. Trevor Ariza is not a no.1 or 2 option in the NBA, if he is you have arguably the worst offensive team in the NBA…he is a defensive specialist and spot up shooter. He isnt even worth the MLE in my opinion. He had 1 good playoff and teams went crazy
