Ben Woodside
He is undersized but I would take him mid second personally.
If he would have gone to any other school in a big conference i think he could have been a mid first, he just wasnt seen enough.
That sucks that he was a senior cuz that Kansas game was his coming out party
I just dropped him from my mock draft, because of his size. It is a strong possibility that he will be drafted though.
I have to disagree with you there. I think if he played for a big school, he would be late first-early second still, the dude is too small. I don't know how quick he is either, maybe he can't play defense on an NBA guard. He made Sherron Collins his ***** though.
Spud Webb had a 50 inch vertical and was really just average his whole career except for dunk contests. AI had the sickest crossover the game has ever seen and was drafted first because he was unguardable. Don't forget he was as quick a player in the NBA a few years ago. Plus he has like 3 inches on Woodside. I like the Wolves and Woodside option though.
Woodside will be a similar player in the NBA to J.J. Barea, in my opinion. He belongs in the league as a backup...if nothing else than being a 3rd PG on someone's team. Mid to late 2nd round.....though possibly undrafted. Even if he's undrafted, I'd still bet he makes a roster as a free agent.
Ben is nasty. I was at the Kansas game and I sat behind some scouts. They only had 2 people on their list; Aldrich and Woodside. Woodside can shoot, he can handle the rock, he is faster than people think. I would LOVE MN to take him with one of their second rounders.
I saw Woodside destroy Kansas. However, I always hesitate to evaluate someone based on only one game. But here's my take on Woodside and the draft.
1. NBA GMs have a strong bias in favor of 7 footers and an equally strong bias against guys under 6 feet.
2. Second round draft choices are almost always long shots to begin with, so I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see someone who needs speed and a good backup point guard, select him in the 2nd round.
"Size isnt everything." So True Nbanflguy. Saying that though, there are a lot of good second round prospects this year. Not many stars in this draft but a lot of solid role players.

When do you think he will be drafted? Or do you even see him being drafted?
This kid looks like he has all the tools he just needs an oppurtunity
