IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m high on Griffin. He didn’t play last season, but based on what I saw during the summer league/pre-season… He’s going to be a beast.
He’s 100% healthy and is already working out like the season starts tomorrow. Of course he’s going to be a starter. It’s very possible that he could average a double double next season, which could definitely get him the ROY award.
I think that he’ll be the Clippers’ best player and leader by the middle of the season.

JJeff6ParticipantHe will be good. Just a little rusty (hopefully that wears off quick) and he will end up being a solid/maybe all star for the clips for years to come. expect around 14 and 8 first year (maybe 8 is a little high but im sticking with it)

Tyreke JohnsonParticipantAssuming hes fully recovered, he is going to be a starter and produce fairly well, probably 15ppg and 8rpg maybe a block, he is a guy that is an impact player and will affect his team well, he will probably make or break his team making the playoffs.

He’ll average 8 rebounds EASILY. Kaman isn’t a great rebounder. I think Griffin will get those rebounds that Zach Randolph and Marcus Camby left behind.

JJeff6Participanthes a great rebounder but it might depend on how many minutes he gets a game his first year. He will definitaly get 8 with 35 min a night. again he may be rusty and still trying to get a feel for the nba

IndianaBasketballParticipantJust like any other rookie, he’ll definitely have to get his feel for the NBA. I don’t expect too much rust though. He did hand/eye coordination, dribbling and shooting drills while he was injured. He basically did everything possible, other than play. He studied game film and was fully involved with the team. He didn’t miss a beat and now he’s working out like a maniac getting ready for next season. I just think he’ll be very good right away.
A player with his athleticism, *hustle* and feel for where to be… I wouldn’t be surprised if he averaged 10 rebounds.

Meditated StatesParticipantHis jump shot will be better and he will run the floor and finish. Take slower power forwards off the dribble and get to the line. If he stays healthy monster season for a first year player.

duhrant35ParticipantAnd I’m the only one who thinks that Favors has more upside than Griffin?

BiggysmallsParticipantto say Favors has more upside than Griffin is foolish. Sure Favors is longer and may be more athletic (big maybe) but barring injury there is just simply no way Derrick Favors will be the player that Blake Griffin can be. Griffin has the size, athleticism, work ethic, and BASKETBALL SKILL. Favors has the size and athleticism. He can run and jump, which is great for the 100m hurldes, but in basketball I’ll take Griffin all day.
