Watching them at the same time towards the end of the video, it’s shocking how similar they look next to each other. Almost the exact same play.

Still, the dunk over Perkins was the better of the two.

although i may be a bit biased, i think i’d have to go with perkins. mosgov did not know what was coming while perkins should have read the script by now

Definitely Perkins. He’s a proven tough defender and to be able to shrug him off like that is just pure beastiness. And he actually touched the ring on this one. Still, Griffin did t-bag Mozgov so it’s very debatable.

Lebron’s dunk and now this; what’s next NBA? Scalabrine taking off from the free throw line?

Both weren’t very impressive IMO. They were all one of those leverage dunks. He used the defenders to get up higer than he actually jumped.

Perkins had rotated over into defensive position a little better and was able to at least jump and challenge the dunk a little. So I think the Perkins one looked more vicious. Definitely this will be one of the dunks of the year, though Lebron jumping right over Lucas was pretty sweet too.

Over Perkins, much more power on it and the fact that the Mosgov was a throw in and Perkins is known as one of the toughest defenders in the league today.

Lets say, both were incredibly hard and incredibly impressive. To say otherwise is just unshakeable hating. I think this latest dunk was insane and that it was even better than his one on Mozgov last year. The sheer power and violence of this throw down was a thing of beauty. It might not be the Lipton (Vince Carter’s dunk on Freddie Weis) or some may like jumping over better than dunking on, but this dunk was awesome.

If you want to get down to the nitty gritty, both the Mozgov and Perkins dunk were with both defenders being in completely prone position. Perkins at the very least got a hand up, but there was little way his momentum was going to provide any defense towards Griffin’s explosion towards the basket.

They kind of remind me of the circumstances that led to Rudy Fernandez dunking on Dwight Howard in the Olympics. It was a case of defenders being unable to get to a spot in time to provide much resistance, thus suffering the consequences. Rudy had a step on Dwight, who had to chase him down. But, Blake also clearly had position on Mozgov and Perkins who seemed utterly prone. The thing with Blake’s dunks compared to Rudy is that Blake brought that power that truly makes it the ultimate "facial" dunk.

It’s funny how people want to give me negs but have no rebuttal. You internet warriors need to come out from hiding.

I don’t give out negatives, but I don’t see how he used leverage. He may have shoved Mozgov’s face to his n*ts, but I didn’t see him push up. All I saw was him get bumped, especially in the Perkins one.

To say those aren’t impressive, especially that second one is crazy. You HAVE to be at least a little impressed.

I actually just gave you positives. I think it’s stupid when people get negs for their opinions. Well, unless someone is just saying stupid ish lol.

Sick dunks and it would be sick to own a poster on both… But I was really amazed with the Perkins one just by the fact that he touched the rim and he posterized one of the best defensive big men in the league… wwwwwooooowwww
