A few scores from yesterday.
Minnesota defeated Oakland 5-4 and my Blue Jays defeated the Baltimore Orioles 6-2.
Mark Trumbo of the Los Angeles Angels hit a walk off home run last night to give his team a 9-8 victory over the New York Yankees.
A little of Toronto Blue Jay news to pass along.
Some bad news for Jays fans. Yunel Escobar suffered a left groin injury on Sunday and is listed day-to-day.
The Jays has sent Eric Thames, who has been slumping at the plate lately, and has called up Mike McCoy.
The Jays have spruced up their overworked bullpen by calling up Aaron Laffey from Triple A and sent down Chad Beck.
