     Not sure why it took so long in the first place. He is definitely one of the best coaches in the league. Easily one of the top 5.

      My thoughts exactly. The Bulls would have certainly been foolish to allow Coach Thibodeau to leave.

    see how Rose’s injury plays out.  Given that Thibodeau is the reason for his injury, you might want to wait.  If injury pans out = extension.  If injury doesn’t = unemployment.

    IF anybody knows Reinsdorf, he’s a B to negotiate with. A lot of people don’t remember, but he didn’t want to pay Phil Jackson. He complained that he’d never pay a head coach big money. This is a guy who has been known for being a tough negotiator.

    I’m happy for Thibs that he got a long term deal.
