    Former NBA player and current Comcast Bulls pre and post game commentator Kendall Gill has been fired. He apparently threw a punch (or two) at a local Big Ten sports analyst (Tim Doyle- and former Northwestern b-ball player) following the taping of a sports show. Doyle had critical remarks for Gill’s commentary on the referee’s review of a late basket interference call in the Bulls versus Nuggets game a few days ago. Word is that Comcast was not overly enamored with Gill’s work and that this scuffle gave them an out in his contract.

    Frankly, I thought he was pretty good and was not afraid to speak his mind. Good luck Kendall.

    There are conflicting reports now. Some say he was fired and others are saying he is suspended for the rest of the season and playoffs. Either way, we may or may not see Kendall Gill next season with Comcast on the Bulls beat.
