Is Carmelo Anthony a top 15 player?
No way. (sarcasm) He's just one of the best scorers in the NBA, had two 50 point career games, and is easily one of the most, if not thee most clutch players in the league. 25ppg, 6rpg, and 3apg are pretty good careers stats too. His only real flaw is his defence which isn't horrible but could be better.
i ask because im not a big fan of him yet when we did the top players ranking i had him at 11 but a lot of his supposed fans or whatever weren't even talking about him and ESPN had him ranked at 16...

Maybe you should have went into more detail in your original post. Why do you say wait intell next year? Lets see what they do this year first. I know its still early, but going off their stats and the Knicks record, Melo would be ahead of both D-Will and D-Wade, not trying to knock them or anything. Bynum and Rose are above him when healthy, but havent even played yet this season and who know when they will. As of now he's easily a top 15 player, which was the original question. And a possible top 10 player which could be debated all day.
People doubt him because last year he came in out of shape because of the lockout then played his way in shape and lit the NBA on fire post Allstar break. I've been saying this forever and I will continue to say Carmelo is the second best SF in the league.
The guy has got to be top 10 at least in my opinion, he did struggle at the start of last season but when the Knicks wenr 18-6 after Mike D'Antoni left, he found his old form and since then has really taken over leadership of the team. Also he is a 24.7ppg career scorer over a near 10 year NBA career so he has played at an elite standard over a long period of time.

those are the only guys that I might, MIGHT put in front of Carmelo Anthony and he could surpass any of them except LeBron James, his game is more complete and his defense has been great
Is Melo a top 15 player? Wow, definitely! Carmelo is easily a top 15 player and in my opinion he's a top 10. I've always said Melo is the best scorer in the league and the most clutch player. Yes I know Kobe and KD are clutch, and they can score the ball but Melo is a flawless offensive player IMO. Outside, inside, mid post, low post, attacking the basket, it doesn't matter. I think he scores easier than anyone.
