nick5354ParticipantCavs have had one of their biggest win of the year downing OKc 100-105
Kyrie drops 35 with 11 in the last 5-6 mintues, including a clone 3 like the one he hit against toronto in the crunch.
Speights continues his steller form in Cleveland putting down 21 and 10, showing his money jumper in the mid range.
Miles deadly from 3. all round effort for the cavs not just leaving it up to Irving.
This kid is just insane. took over the game against one, if not the top team in the NBA. I was just in ore.

draftmangtParticipantHis offensive game is just unbelievable. Not only is he an excellent shooter but his ability to finish at the rim is amazing.

akhan786ParticipantSame here man. Wow. I noticed that there were 3 minutes left and it was a tight game so I knew that I had to turn away from the Michigan IU game cause you never know what Kyrie will do in clutch moments like this.
And wow was I not disappointed. I posted the play by play of the last 2:50 in the other thread.
His offensive game is borderline supernatural…

nick5354ParticipantI lost it when he hit that 3 in Westbrooks face. And when he had the ball on a string dancing around Durant to get fouled going to the rim was amazing. I feel for anyone who has to guard him.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantDude is ice cold, Westbrook needs to get his eyes checked after that three in his face

nick5354ParticipantHe has just a killer mentality too. “Pressure makes diamonds”, you cannot hep but love this kid.

akhan786ParticipantIt’s sad though because you can tell how ready this guy is for the playoffs but his second best player on his team is mother f*cking Tristan Thompson and on some nights Mareese Speights.
I can’t wait until they get a team around him.

RafterParticipantAnderson Varejao has been badly missed, the pick and rolls with Irving proved to be a potent combination. As for Tristian Thompson, he’s moderately improved and is almost averaging a double-double. Thompson has a much deeper offensive game then he had last season, he’s now attempting more jumpshots as opposed to attacking the basket and he’s much more mature in late game situations now.
It’s very encouraging for Cavalier fans that they’re showing such promise despite having a really bad record, Irving is the bedrock, foundation, cornerstone and whatever other word you want to identify him with of this team and he’s going to be in the playoffs, even if he has to carry this roster to do so. In terms of draft prospects, as long as they select a small forward I’ll be happy or a two guard that can slide over to the three so that it doesn’t conflict with Waiters’ development.

Anton123ParticipantI think I’ve seen Tristan take one jump shot in the whole season, and I’ve watched almost every Cavs game
He’s got that pretty hook shot falling consistently though0- Posted on: Sun, 02/03/2013 - 4:33am #744165
RafterParticipantThompson has made 55 of his 170 jump shots this season compared his last season count of 42 out of 165. It’s by no means automatic but his percentage is improving.

Anton123ParticipantHe often makes hook shots from quite far away, probably statistically they count as jump shots, but honestly, he doesn’t take almost any actual jump shots, I have missed like seven Cavs games, I remember like four or five jumpshot attempts, I couldn’t have missed 165.
Maybe I’ve just got a vague understanding of a jump shot, but to me a hook shot from far away is still a hook shot.0
