Chad Ford is Nuts
williams is 6-8.ed davis is 6-11 and probably ends up being 7 feet tall.he's got skills at both ends of the floor.ed davis will be better than willams.
anyway, that's besides the point, cause i read he's staying at unc.
Chad Ford always seems to get really hyped over certain propsects. I rememeber at the begining of the season he had Jerome Jordan of Tulsa in his top ten. Ed Davis officially announced Sunday night that he was coming back, so Ford's going to have no choice but to take him off now. As for Warren though, from what I've heard he's made no official announcement he's coming back to OU and here's the news article to back it up. The original article came up on draftexpress.com on the 9th of April.

Wow, this mock is absolutely ridiculous...some players are missing that absolutely should not be, and some players are present that won't even be in the draft, or have no business even sniffing the lottery...
The only thing he has wrong is Ed Davis, but before yesterday he was still undecided. Cole Aldrich,Willie Warren havent officially said anything, and many think that Warren will test the waters and probably go pro if he is a lotto pick. Even Evan Turner is said to rethink his decision about staying at Ohio State. I think Chad Ford most likely just put those names in there to let the guys know where they would be picked if anything.
I think he has more wrong than that...besides the fact that we don't know if Warren will even be in the draft, there is no way he goes as high as 7. I also don't think Aminu goes at 9, and I don't understand why the Bobcats would take curry when they have Felton and Augustine...and I can't see Jordan hill falling all the way to 11...
Chad Ford's Mock Draft does not take team need into account. It's just his rating of the prospects regardless of who has declared. He tends to keep his mock draft up for at least a month at a time without changing it....

So much for ESPN having a decent mock lottery:

Right now, he has Ed Davis as a top 5 pick. WHAT?!! Yeah, I understand he's long and athletic, and did well in his bench role for the Tar Heels during their championship run, but top 5 THIS YEAR?! Come on! Oh, and don't give me the Marvin Williams comparison, either. Williams was far more productive his freshman year than Davis. On top of, he has Willie Warren in the top 10. Good job staying up to date, Mr. Ford. Warren already said he's coming back, so you can take him out of your mock.
