A chance to play Professionaly

Good Day to all the readers and to the 14 year old's reading this thread, There might be a chance that you have Filipino Blood on you, and have a chance to play at a Professional Level and Earn a couple of dollars at this process, The Philippine Basketball Association only welcomes Basketball Athletes with Filipino Blood in them, even if its just 1/4th but there must be proof.

yes its like a minor league but the Guys Like Gabe Norwood, Solomon Mercado and Jared Dillinger are earning 8,000 dollars per month, not bad for league outside of States, Well aside from the Money there are incentives given by the teams, the Owners of the teams are all Business Moguls in the Philippines,

Also playing in the PBA expect getting the Superstar Actor treatment, for example, Just walking along the Mall people will swarm you and ask pictures, autographs and all the star treatment, Plus the Girls!! oh la la!

anyway, i'll give you a run through of the Philippines Brand of play, First you must battle Exhaustion, its more hot in the Philippines, second be ready for many Pain relief Patches, getting a bruise comes naturally, third the Average height of players are Small, but with being Small comes with lightning Fast Speed, fourth Triangle offense and Run N gun gamestyles are implored,

Soooo, any of you guys Know someone who Have Filipino Blood, tell them this opportunity, and to the 14 year old's ask your mom and dad about your Grandpas and Grandmas if you have Filipino Blood on you, and as early as possible apply for Filipino Passport,

I hope i helped some of you Guys! :)

yup, but just be realistic,

yup, but just be realistic, grab the opportunities at basketball, Play basketball and Earn as well, Prof Basketball players here in the Philippines are wealthy, i mean if your just an above average player playing at a D II school with Filipino Blood then why not try playing here, your 8000 dollars is 350,000 Philippine Pesos, well just saying, if i have the height of 6'6" i'll be doing my best to enter the League

8,000 dollars a month really

8,000 dollars a month really is okay money, itll get you by, but i could do much better with a college education here in the states while staying close to my family in the process, just saying.

well, its a good mentality

well, its a good mentality being near your family, well look at Marcus Douthit, he is the naturalized Filipino player, he brought his family here, and living the dream life, there in states 8,000 USD is good, but living here in the Phil, 8,000 USD is great, plus the incentives, well i'm pushing you to play here, im here to tell young players who has the Filipino blood on them to at least get as early as now a Filipino Passport, if it doesn't pan out there in the states,

here is an article

Wish

I wish I had Filipino blood on me... I'd love to come test that league out. Overseas ball is very very unique, I enjoy it. Back in August, I signed to go play in Kosova, but I got out of my contract to accept a better offer in the Guadeloupe league. I play there now, its a French league, not a top league, but its decent for my first professional job. So far though, I've had several offers from teams in Germany, Uruguay, Argentina, and received some interest from D-League teams. But I'd choose overseas over D-League any day. More than likely I'll be playing playing in the Mexican summer league this year after my contract ends June 1st.

Yeah, but I bet to be that

Yeah, but I bet to be that import in those conferences you have to have been a very good DI player. Or maybe a washed up NBA player.

I can imagine that $8,000 US in the Filipinos would have you living like a king. Not to mention there are probably opportunities for endorsements, TV and movie roles, etc.

PBA is an awesome league to watch

I was over in the Phillippines a couple of years ago- Manila is like what New York would be if you picked it up and moved it to Florida. The league is great to watch, run and gun, loads of great guard play. And courtside tickets were about $50. bonus. JJ Helterbrand is a serious baller!

true that. lots of ex-nba

true that. lots of ex-nba players played in the pba and some who had been cut of the nba rosters. injuries kinda bugged JJ's game but there was a span in which he dominated the league, also one of my fave guards! funny thing is if you're 6'5 most of the time you will be playing PF/C ! that's why it really needs phil-am players coz even if they're tall they can also play outside/wing
