TiosecoParticipantSo, Tyson Chandler won the award. Just wanted to know what your thoughts are. I do not really have any complains with him winning thought there are others out there who were deserving as well. (As well as Dwight fatigue) http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nba–tyson-chandler-wins-nba-s-defensive-player-of-year.html;_ylt=AuopKCbr_MpeNjZdmU3AIkO8vLYF
"New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler has won the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year award, a league source told Yahoo! Sports.
The Knicks plan to make the announcement official Thursday at their practice facility. Chandler will receive the award Thursday night prior to Game 3 between the Knicks and Miami Heat.
Chandler averaged 11.3 points, 9.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in his first season with the Knicks. He ends Dwight Howard’s streak of winning the award at three."

Stojakovicfor3ParticipantSerge Ibaka with 3.5 blocks per game should have been heavily considered but nothin wrong with Tyson winning the award.
