Who makes the biggest leap next year by changing teams? I know Bledsoe will probably get traded and start for a new team and I think he will succeed at least as a more athletic Mike Conley. Tyreke Evans needs a new start and probably will get one. Anybody else who could use a new home/role?
Brandon Jennings I can see moving, it really depends what sort of system he is in. I can see him happier and more productive being out of Milwakuee.
Agreed. Jennings needs a change. But I just read that the bucks are prepared to match anything under a max contract so he might not get that change.
Eric Gordon wants out of New Orleans and they are looking to trade him, I'd keep an eye out for his situation.
As a pelicans fan How could I forget Gordon lol yea desperately needs one. I think he'll have a lot of suitors this summer. He's a great SG when healthy and plenty of teams need help at that spot. Indiana, Phoenix, and Dallas could all use his skills just to name a few.
I don't see a change of scenery helping Jennings much. His problem isn't production, it's efficiency and decision making. He's a volume scorer by nature, an inefficient one at that because of his poor shot selection and inability to finish in the paint. If he goes on to a different team I don't think he'll be given as much freedom as he's had with Milwaukee. Just look at how many shots are available with that offensively deficient team. Take away some of a volume shooters ability to shoot in volume, what kind of player do they become? It's not like Brandon has a strong floor game or defensive game to fall back on should his scoring opportunities be reduced.
IMO, any team who offers him more than, or even in the same vicinity of what S.Curry and J.Holiday got, loses. He's barely a top 20 starting PG.
Gerald Henderson. The guy is very talented, but has been in Charlotte his whole career which can't be easy. It would be interesting to see him on a winning team with a new bit of motivation to play.
Jennings other problem is no right hand, I don't see how he hasn't devoleped a right hand after all these years.....
Personally, I hope Eric Gordon can end up with the Pacers or Bulls somehow.
That would be nice but neither team can afford him.
The Pacers could trade Granger and their 23rd pick for him. They could even add Stephenson in the deal.
The Bulls could trade Deng for Gordon and their 20th pick, then just move Butler to the three.
Perfect trade scenario for all parties. Granger is from N.O. Gordon is an Indiana native. Bringing in Gordon at the two fully entrenches Paul George as the franchise three, his best postion. Small forward was the positon in which the Pelicans got the least amount of production last season,an Granger can provide veteran leadership and playoff experience to the group. They also drafted Austin Rivers last year, and even though he &$#%#&@! the bed as a rookie they're goin' to have to give him some legitimate minutes to see what he can become in the backcourt.
I could see both the Pacers and Bulls trying to get him. He's from Indy and is a former teammate of Rose. Pelicans probably want more than that tho.
AB has a bad contract and his confidence seems to have dropped.
Josh Smith. Really he is such a versatile player both in offense and in defense but i dont think he is really getting much love from the hawks fans.
I hope maybe in some way he could end up with the raptors maybe trade bargnani a pick and terrence ross.. Then they will be way athletic at all five positions and he gay and derozan could run n gun and jump out of the gym all game.
You know Smith's a FA right?
Tyreke Evans needs a change of scenery. There is nothing the Kings can do and nobody they can draft to fix that team.
I think Bargnani will have a change of scenery but will not fall into the category of making the "biggest leap".
I think he will go to a playoff team and come off the bench for a bit of scoring punch. OKC has Collison, Ibaka, Thabeet and Perk as their bigs. They could use a bit of scoring off their bench, Bargs could play 12-20 mins a night off the bench
Cant wait to see him play for Real Madrid!
