i saw a thread here about 2012-2013 bold predictions, one of the said prediction is that the bobcats would with 12+ games, i totally agree to that, but it keeps me wondering on how good would the bobcats be? with a new coach, a coach who specializes on Developing young players, which the Bobcats are now, they only got four player about 25,

Diop(Which is Use for Rebounding and Defense),

Haywood(Similar with what Diop bring but on a higher level)

Session(Which is a good pick and Roll type of player, could be quality minutes)

Gordon(On the decline of his career, but who knows, he could revitalize his career there )

three of them are recently added agent via Free agency and trade,

and with there youth growing together, the 2012 rookie tandem of Biyombo and Walker and with Henderson (Hopefully improving) and Mullens(showed he can shoot the ball in long range) plus tyrus thomas (a bonehead player)

also the Addition of MKG provides what gerald wallace gave them before, the nack for defense and intensity of the game,

with all that said, how do you think will the bobcats do this upcoming season?

personally, they improve a approximation of +5 to +8 wins, how worse can they be last season,

The Bobcats will still be one of the worst teams in the NBA, but they can go nowhere but up after last year.  I think MKG will be a leader on this team from day one.  I can see the Bobcats getting 20-24 wins next year.  After a couple more years of high draft picks, who knows?

The bobcats are going to win between 15-20 games so they will get another good draft pick. They better draft smart and find team chemistry before 2016, because that’s when Chicago gets our draft pick:UNPROTECTED

i was wondering if they would be implementing the zone defense as there main option in defense, though nba player are must faster and more of a threat from the outside with using a zone

i heard they looking to tank the season and next off season to draft Cody Zeller, sign James Harden to a max contract and than start trying to compete with a promise future.

    Kemba Walker
    James Harden
    Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
    Cody Zeller
    Bismack Biyombo

I actually think they can win 25 to 30 games especially if MKG can bring them energy like he did in summer league.  I was not high on Cats taking MKG but I have to say far I was wrong.  They have a solid line up and they have some athletes.  I think if their coach is any good they should surprise a few teams.  Gordon is still good but in Detroit it was not a good fit.  Hayward is a solid big man. Sessions is a pretty good point guard.  He sucked in the playoff for Lakers except for  a few games but in the regulars season he was solid

    PG: Sessions

    SG: Gordon

    SF MKG/Williams

    PF Thomas

    C Hayward

Bench: PG Walker SG Henderson SF Williams/MKG PF Biyombo(May Start over Thomas) C Mullens

They won 7 of 66 games with a really bad line up and now for the most part the guys that started last year are on the bench.

who is the williams? in the 3rd spot?,

im not a charlotte fan, though im intrigue on how the team would improve from last season,

    with there defense, and offense,

they have spitfire (if he is his old self) ben Gordon

and a low post, shotblocking, 7 footer presence in haywood

     Reggie Williams from VMI

Reggie is probably the least well known NBA player who averages over 10 points a game for his career.

Kemba Walker should be better in his second year, but really replacing him in the lineup with Sessions is going to be a huge improvement. Walker shot 37% last year, which is terrible, but made worse by the fact that he played nearly starter level minutes and he called his own number a lot. No team can survive that many misses. I know because the Knicks at the start of the season had Toney Douglas doing the same thing. The Knicks, who are much better than the Bobcats, couldn’t overcome Douglas playing that bad, so I wouldn’t expect the Kittycats to be able to.

MKG is nice, but you all have to realize he is a rookie. Rookies rarely can really make that positive an impact on a team, unless they are franchise guys like Shaq, Lebron or Duncan. For most rookies, all you can hope is that they can hold down the fort a bit while they develope.

Well, who the hell was Kemba supposed to pass to last year?  Someone had to shoot.

You keep telling yourself that and I will make the same excuse for Deron Williams. Boy I hope you are right and the same can be said for Deron, because while Kemba was a high draft choice at least he is just on a rookies scale three year salary. Deron is tied up for five years and $100 million. He had better have a bounce back year/career now that he is matched with some other scorers.

Mike Dunlap although more of an Assistant Coach throughout his career is highly regarded in the basketball world and does have a good record with younger players. Maybe MJ sees him as the type of guy to try and develop his young roster rather than look at results for the next few years.

I’d think that anything over 20 wins would be real progress for Charlotte.
