Chicago/Toranto Trade

Chicago Trades:

Tyrus Thomas - 10.2 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 0.9 apg in 26.5 minutes
Tim Thomas - 9.5 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 1.0 apg in 22.0 minutes
Kirk Hinrich - 9.9 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 3.9 apg in 26.2 minutes

Toranto Trades:

Chris Bosh - 22.7 ppg, 10.0 rpg, 2.5 apg in 38.0 minutes
Marcus Banks - 2.6 ppg, 0.9 rpg, 1.4 apg in 10.3 minutes
Roko Ukic - 4.2 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 2.1 apg in 12.4 minutes

Reason for Chicago: Getting Bosh is the only reason for this trade. Finally having a low-post scorer gives them something they have lacked since trading away Elton Brand. They could also have a chance at re-signing Bosh in 2010 because of how good Derrick Rose can become. Plus with two picks in draft they can get the depth they would be trading away.

Draft: #16- Tyler Hansbrough
#24- Marcus Thorton

Bulls 2009-2010 Look:

PG- Derrick Rose
SG- John Salmons
SF- Luol Deng
PF- Chris Bosh
C - Joakim Noah
Sub- Brad Miller
Sub- Tyler Hansbrough
Sub- Marcus Thorton

Reason for Toranto: Letting Bosh walk in the summer of 2010 is almost certainly going to happen. Getting a young athletic foward will take away from the painful lose of Bosh but may actually help Bargnani become the focal point in the offense. They also would be getting a quality back-up in Hinrich.

Draft: #9- DeMar DeRozan

Toranto 2009-2010 Look:

PG- Jose Calderon
SG- DeMar DeRozan
SF- Shawn Marion
PF- Tyrus Thomas
C - Andrea Bargnani
Sub- Kirk Hinrich
Sub- Tim Thomas
Sub- Joey Graham
Sub- Reggie Evans

Let me know what you all think.. Thanks

Who is Toranto?J/K.....I

Who is Toranto?J/K.....I dont think Chicago would even consider this unless they knew for certainty that they could re-sign Bosh because they would lose a lot with him only being there for 1 year. Plus, Toronto would have to be able to re-sign Marion which i def don't see happening if Bosh isn't there. Marion is trying to win now and not be in a rebuilding mode. Plus Chicago has to want the other two players in the proposed deal and i am not sure they want the throw-ins. Also i think they are going to try and do something with Ben Gordon so they are going to need the space for that. It seems this really won't work unless Bosh can be locked up

Chicago needs to add more

Conceptually I think the idea works but I think Chicago is getting away with a steal. This trade boils down to Tyrus Thomas and Kirk Hinrich for Chris Bosh, with Tim Thomas, Marcus Banks, and Reno Ukic being thrown in to make salaries match. I would think that they would have to include John Salmons and/or upgrade Hinrich to Ben Gordon to make the talent part match. Ty Thomas, Hinrich, Salmons or Ty Thomas, Gordon for Bosh may work, with any combination of Tim Thomas, Ukic, and Banks as throw ins for salary matching purposes.

good deal...

if bosh stays in chicago for a long term then the deal makes sence for both of these teams... bosh will walk away most likely next year so toronto will be happy getting some talent for him which tyrus thomas has...
but i think toronto will wait until next offseason with a move and try to make a sign and trade deal for him...

Bulls want Bosh but...

...I'm thinking a third team may need to be brought in.

NEW ORLEANS:

To Bulls: Chris Bosh, Marcus Banks, and Julian Wright
To Raptors: David West, Luol Deng and a 1st Round Pick
To Hornets: Ben Gordon or Kirk Hinrich and Ty Thomas (Louisiana Kid)
* That trade rates out fairly even on the Trade Machine.

MINNESOTA:

To Bulls: Chris Bosh, Corey Brewer and Brian Cardinal
To Raptors: Kevin Love, Luol Deng and a 1st Round Pick
To T-Wolves: Kirk Hinrich, Tyrus Thomas and a contract (Roberson or Nelson)
* That trade rates our fairly even on the Trade Machine.

CHARLOTTE:

To Bulls: Chris Bosh, Marcus Banks and Patrick O'Bryant
To Raptors: Boris Diaw, Luol Deng and a 1st Round Pick
To Bobcats: Ben Gordon and Tyrus Thomas
* That trade rates out fairly even on the Trade Machine

I just don't believe the Bulls have enough pieces to get Chris Bosh on their own.

I think

The bulls would have to put in their 1st rounder but I like the trade
so..Raptors with 16 could gamble and take Mullens/Daye
so
PG-Calderon/Heinrich
SG-Derozan
SF-Daye
PF-Both Thomas's
C-Bargnani
My only concern is that this would probably be the physically weakest teaam in the league

To Pitbulls The trades wouldnt work because the Bulls wouldnt give up 3 starters and their top reserve for Bosh

sounds ok

I would take away Ukic and keep him. Also, no way Hansbrough goes that high....

forget Hinrich

if i were the GM of Toronto, i wouldnt want Tim Thomas or Kirk....u gotta put in Luol Deng.....Luol Deng and Tyrus Thomas and the 26th pick for Bosh......actually a couple of weeks ago, there wre inside reports from the Toronto camp that Chicago was trying to get Bosh and Deng's name came up in the deal....so who knows...mayb "Luol Deng and Tyrus Thomas and the 26th pick for Bosh" might actually happen.....

as for the proposals made by PITTbulls:

-the Hornets trade wont happen because they wont give up on West......West and Paul are the future of tat time....they are tryin to build players around those two.....plus with that trade, their 4 position is weak.....as for Ben Gordon, he's either stayin put in Chicago or headin to Detroit......so its really Hinrich that would in that deal....and i dun think the Hornets are interested in him at all.....not worth giving up David West over....David West is an all-star....how can you compare the value of Hinrich and Tyrus to him....

- as for the other 2 proposals....its possible....i personally like the Charlotte proposal....its good u took out DJ Augustin out of the trade.......but it seems like Charlotte is giving up very little to get two solid players.....also will Ben Gordon go with it.....also with the Minnesota deal, i dun know if the T-Wolves are really interested in gettin rid of Kevin Love...if they are only gettin Tyrus in exchange.....Kevin Love is a huge fan fav. over there......i liked your earlier proposal where you had the Clippers, Minnesota, Toronto, Chicago......that had Kaman and Tyrus in Minnesota......

Chicago

The Bulls will not get Chris Bosh. It seems like the Bulls are rumored to get every single top player, and they never have. They were rumored to try getting Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett. I just don't see them getting Chris Bosh in a trade, possibly signing him.

Just get CB4 and DWADE...

whatever it takes!!!

By the way, my 3-way trades work just fine. The Bulls would have to give up 3 of their good players to get Chris Bosh, whether they trade for him directly with Toronto or use a third team.
