I’m still not convinced in the least that they don’t move him this offseason, if they do… who do you think they’ll try to pick up? Does anybody think he could go as early as draft day?

i think boozer for bosh would be helpful to both tms… Rose needs a big that can space the floor and hit a J… Bosh would compliment Noah very nicely… Miami needs a big that can add toughness to their interior, and post game… (and rebounder)

Bosh could have been a great second option on a team like Chicago, and actually would been better off personally in Miami with Wade if Lebron hadn’t come along and gobbled up all his touches, Wade and Bosh could have contended without Lebron, it just wouldn’t be as easy as they are making it look right now against the Celtics, and Bosh would play a much bigger role.

I really don’t see them moving him anytime soon, he’s one of the best PF’s in the league and they won’t get as much value back as their giving away.

Plus, their big 3 has only played 1 season together, Bosh has proved in last years FIBA tournament he can be a solid defender & role player, I don’t think they’ll trade him for a long time.

I think Miami is coming together.  I think they are the favorites to win it this year.  If so, they should keep Bosh.  He’s still a solid 3rd option.  I think they miss Udonis Haslem.  They can use Bosh as the scorer and Haslem as the enforcer.  They have also been weak at center all year.

I think they need to find someone to play next to Bosh.  If they trade Bosh they will need to get a legit center and a guy to replace Bosh’s scoring.  That would be tough.

Here’s a trade that might work especially if the Heat need a point guard.  The Heat can trade Bosh to the Suns for Steve Nash (legit point guard and great 3rd option, outside shooter), Robin Lopez (a solid defensive center), and Jared Dudley (decent size, can hit 3’s off the bench, young).  If the Heat are in win-now mode, then they can use Nash as the third part of the Big Three, make the team more perimeter oriented on offense, and use Robin Lopez as a decent center along with Joel Anthony and whoever comes back next year.  Haslem can start at the 4 and play 25-30 minutes a night.  Dudley would give them another shooter/scorer off the bench.  The Heat can then look for a power forward to replace some of Bosh’s production.  But, they would already have enough firepower with LeBron, Wade, and Nash, and Jones/Miller/Dudley/Chalmers off the bench.  Haslem, Lopez, and Anthony is a good trio of enforcers with Haslem being able to knock down jumpers, and Lopez/Anthony being able to block shots and intimidate.  They could probably sign another power forward who can give them 12 or 13 points a game along with some rebounds as a solid third option.

Chicago would win a Bosh/Boozer trade.  Boozer is coming up short in these playoffs.  But, we will see what happens.  Miami should beat Boston, and Chicago has a good shot at beating Atlanta so we will see who the better power forward is.

Bosh is a better athlete and longer than Bosh.  He can also score quicker against players his own size.

ESPN trade machine says that a Bosh/Boozer trade would give the Bulls 3 more wins, and the Heat 3 fewer wins.

    link:  http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=2676njs

… the sad part is that the Bulls used their money to sign Boozer, Korver, and Brewer, when LeBron would have been a great fit, Wade would have been a great fit (could have had Rose-LeBron-Wade along with Gibson, plus some other guys), Joe Johnson would have been a great second option beside Rose and ahead of Deng.  Amare would have been a better fit at power forward, as well as Bosh.

So the Bulls probably got the 6th best fit for them.  They also signed Brewer and Korver to pretty decent-sized contracts when I think they could have used Brewer’s money in a better way.  Korver was a nice pickup though.  But it’s not a good sign when Keith Bogans is outplaying Ronnie Brewer.

Boozer for Rip Hamilton and Jason Maxiell might be a good trade for the Bulls.  Rip would be good at the 2, and Maxiell would be a good backup to Taj Gibson.  Or maybe they can get Ben Gordon back.  I think they would do Rip and Maxiell for Boozer.  Monroe and Boozer might work together.  … Maxiell would give the Bulls a lot of strength and toughness to pair with Noah.

The future of Chris Bosh depends on 2 things:

    1) the new CBA – depending on the cap rule and cap limit

With a hard cap, the Heat might be forced to trade Bosh for smaller contract unless the contracts are reworked.  If the CBA remains similar to the current one, then consider 2)

    2) whether the Heat would win a championship

If the Heat win a championship, then the Heat probably have more incentive to keep the big 3 together and add pieces to strengthen and deepen the team.

If the Heat can’t win, then I can certainly see them shopping Bosh for a few solid pieces to compliment LBJ and Wade.  They need a legit PG and a defensive C and if Bosh is traded, they may need an offensive PF.

I dont know if you guys are watching the series but Bosh is holding his own against KG and  winning the battle in pretty much every aspect including intensity. It would be nice to see how he does in Boston, a slip up is expected by everyone who isnt a Miami homer or Lebron dickrider…

That will NOT happen. I personally think that they should trade him, but that would be admitting that they were giving up on thebig three era so quickly. on a side note who would budge at odom bynum and artest for miller and bosh, the lakers or heat.
