OhCanada-ParticipantWhich player has been more important to the Clippers. If you were to vote either player MVP of the Clipps who would you vote. Paul in my opinion has a bigger all around impact in the game but he also missed about 20 games this year. Blake is having his most consistant year, has become ungaurdable one on one by developing a midrange J and tightning up his handle, and his man ro man defense has gotten a bit better under Docs supervision.
Who has been the best for LA?

livinlegend4blkParticipantfrom a leadership standpoint I would say Chris Paul he brings out the best in people he makes everyone around him better great locker room guy he made an impact on the team from a mental standpoint but Blake Griffin put into work this year and grind it out without him for 20 games and lets give props to DeAndre Jordan he’s been good also

Russell0WestbrookParticipantBlake Griffin is looking like his old self from his rookie year Doc had to adjust with Paul out and ran the offense through Blake who’ve people seem to had forgotten he did this quit well his rookie year when he flirted with triple-doubles on a regular basis. Now with Paul back they still run the offense through Blake which shows Doc trusts him which is huge for his confidence same with DJ

Rip255I’m going to go with BG this year, but amazingly he doesn’t make my all-nba 1st team because the forward spots are taken by LBJ and KD yet I’ve got CP3 at the point guard spot.
Is DeAndre Jordan a candidate for All-NBA First team? Maybe Joakim Noah is ahead…not sure. Some DJ stats below..
1st Rebounding, 3rd Blocks, 1st FG%, 3rd Defensive win shares, 9th in total win shares, 1st among centres in steals,

FourParticipantI don’t want to argue semantics but for me it is a difference between who "has been" the most important and who "is" the most important.
With CP3 missing so much time this year Blake has been the MVP of that team and by far, in my opinion, the most important and valuable Clipper this year.
That said CP3 is the most important and valuable Clipper. When healthy he is the third most valuable player in the league for me and if they make any significant noise in the playoffs it’ll be because of him.

IndianaBasketballParticipantNot only is Blake Griffin the MVP of the Clippers, I’d probably put him 3rd behind Kevin Durant and LeBron James in the NBA’s MVP race.
Here’s my opinion… IF the Clippers are going to make it to the NBA Finals, they’ve got to run the offense through Griffin more. Chris Paul overdribbling and being their go-to scorer as a 6′ 0" point guard hasn’t gotten them anywhere in the playoffs. Griffin either scores when single covered, gets to the line (71% shooter this season) or he make the right pass when he’s doubled.

joecheck88ParticipantI’m gonna have to agree with you. Paul George would’ve been up there but he’s really fallen off. One of the big reasons people want to give the MVP to KD is because Westbrook misses many games. Think the same can be said for Griffin. He’s improved in every area of his game and people still have this hate for him. There is always talk of the best PF in the game. Oh it’s Kevin Love but he’s never been to the playoffs and that team has talent. It’s LaMarcus Aldridge but he’s fallen off after the all star game. Then we have BG who is around 23ppg 10rpg and 4apg with good shooting %. He’s been the best PF this year.
In my mind this team is now a contender because of the offensive emergence of BG. Not the favorite but they could beat an OKC or SA or Houston 4 out of 7.
In terms of MVP I would go
1) KD 2) Lebron. 3) Blake Griffin. 4) Paul George. 5) Joakim Noah/James Harden
