geothermalParticipantI’m bored an im in the middle of a boring class and i remembered that i would start a thread on how the NBA is discriminating filipino players like what European Baller is saying with greek players,
but i wont go that far, instead i would just start to post Philippines’ young top talents, i know our race tends to be quite poor in height, with the likes of Charice Pempengco (Singer) and of course the Pride of the Philippines Manny Pacquiao (Boxer), Although we have also our fair share of tall and Athletic player first is
i cant embed pictures right now, i think photobucket is blocked in our computer lab
Cliff Hodge
– A graduate of reedley college and standing at 6feet 5 inches with 6feet 10 inches wingspan and 185 pounds, has a vertical leap of 11feet and 2 inches, he is a quite a player in our local league as he averages 6 dives per game, he gives the intangibles in the team, he play the 4/3 spot in league because of how tall he is, but with his athleticism and speed, he can play the Shooting Guard Spot, he is a locked down defender and has a limited range (not the best 3 pointer in the) gets his points with with his slashing and cutting skills, a fair ball handler but wont amaze you with his crossover,NBA comparison
– Tony Allenhere are link of his stats, would be an okay role player in the NBA, would play garbage minutes and would be in the D-league for sure

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantGuys calm down either it was a typo or he’s using a different metric system then the one we use in America, or maybe he’s just bad at converting

HaleParticipantI think he meant like his max reach is 11’2, not his actual vertical.

frogmanParticipantLol we know, we were just joking. And for your brilliant metric system theory, a foot is still a foot in any country

Jr. ROXASParticipantim filipino too and i watch him in a daily basis too. He’s a big and his hustle and intangibles actually remind me of a shorter kenneth faried or charles oakley. I stil think hes still a little bit too small though to be competing in the NBA or the D-League..

Cardinal_FanParticipantIf he was good enoughto be in the d league or nba my belief is he would already be there. Scouts now days will find talent any and everywhere all over the world.

BackCourt2000Participanti just hope clifford and chris ellis can get their eligibility for the NT fixed, we need those two guys in there for the 2013 FIBA Asia. As for pinoy bball talents, i’d like to see what kiefer ravena and bobby ray parks can do in america, i know kiefer is short, but he has such great talent. and parks has been the best in the pinoy college hoops system, he has talent and could play the 2 here in the states…
btw sol mercado for BPC go meralco
