Watching the Spurs and Clippers on ESPN, and the Clippers are just dominating them on both ends……When the Clippers are clicking like they are tonight I don’t see anyone beating them.

Now am I saying the will win the NBA championship? NO

But They have a great chance if they can keep getting better and geling, and one of their main pieces is still out Billups.

    Paul had 10pts, 12ast

    Griffin 22pts, 10rebs

    Jordan 20pts, 11rebs

    Barnes 12pts, 5rebs, 4 ast

And the X-Factor Eric Bledsoe had 15pts,5ast in 15 mins as im typing this, this guy really boosts this teams energy……Soon as he comes in their intensity on defense picks up big time.

bledsoe can start for a team. the way he handles it and controls the tempo of the game is special…

judging from the times i’ve seen him play this season… if a team gave him 33 minutes he would average around 17-8-3

FLUKE RULE FLUKE RULE FLUKE RULE

      Scary good, I think not.

Yes, they did beat the Grizz and the 1-4 Lakers, and had ONE hot night against the Spurs.

But they lost against the Wiz (Sans Wall and Nene) and the Cavs.

Let’s not get too carried away here. Geez, it’s like it’s only a big deal when the Spurs lose.

They are 3-2 true that’s why I said when their clicking on all cylinders they’re hard to beat, I didn’t say they were the best or will win the ship, I just think they are a team to really watch out for, all their wins are against playoff teams and they’ve beaten them all pretty easily.

    @ 3–6

I felt the same way about Bledsoe until I started thinking could he do the same thing if he became the focal point of a defense…..I do think he is a starting caliber guard in the NBA, but while he clearly has improved, he still is producing off raw ability, he’s def one of the quickest and possibly the strongest PG in the L tho.

They weren’t scary good when they lost to the Cavs two days ago.  I didn’t watch the game and it might have been coz they were so far ahead but no starters or Ginobili even played half the game.  Little bit of an overreaction to 1 game

This team has so much depth, only problem is their health.  Can CP3, Griffin, Hill, Turiaf, and Billups stay healthy to really make this team a contender.

When billups comes back, they can go 10-12 players in their rotation as they have the deepest team in the west, unlike the lakers who none of their bench players made more than 1 field goal tonight

I think the most encouraging aspect of this team is their defense. They really picked it up against a good offensive team in San Antonio. They are super athletic and close out to shooters almost as well as Miami. He is right, if this team can gel and fit Hill and Billips back in, they are scary good.

Why is everyone saying when billups comes back etc… He is not the same player anymore or won’t be the same player anymore. He is old and has not played a game in a long time. I don’t even think he can get much playing time with the way Bledsoe is playing.

Last year they had Kenyon, Williams, Evans, Billups/Nicky Young,  Fat boy Odom, cripple Grant Hill and Turiaf are not an upgrade people.  Yes Bledsoe and Jordan are playing good ball, but Caron and Billups, and even CP3 have fallen off a little bit.

I honestly think the Clippers are really good and can match up with any team in the west. Im thinking they will end up in the Western Conference Finals. They have great guard play with Paul bledsoe and Billups who all can shoot and create their own shot. They can run with anyone in the league, having Blake and DeAndre who can jump out the gym. Caron Butler and Matt Barnes are seasoned vets who know how to play the game, along with Grant Hill once he gets healthy. On D, Jordan is one of the best shot blockers in the league, Ryan Hollins has the lenngth and athleticism to be good on D as well. Blake is also capable. Paul and Bledsoe can stay in front of any pgs in the league, and Barnes is a very good defender on the perimeter. Thats a pretty balanced team, THEN you throw in the scoring and big shot making of Jamal Crawford who’s a normal 6th Man of the Year candidate and that team becomes a serious contender. I think they are legit.

I don’t know where you’re getting that from, but they lost to the Warriors. C’mon man know what you’re talking about before you speak…

The only problem I see the Clippers having is minutes….When Everyone is healthy, Vinny is going to have a hard time figuring out who to put in.
