Congrats to STANFORD's LANDRY FIELDS on being named opening night starter
They dont have much depth at shooting guard..There was talk of resigning T-Mac and they tried to get Fernandez from Portland..
Don't put to much into this..Fields still have a few things he has to work on..But he's played better than any other shouting guard on their roster...
I knew he would be a sleeper...I had him going late in the 1st round...
Lord have mercy. All u had to do was google. That's how I saw it. No particular web site. Turned on computer saw three headlines saying he is starting. Never clicked on it. I've done this plenty of times and no one else seems to need a link. I'm pretty sure they do what I usually do if I'm not convinced. And that would be to google it

I didn't know posting a simple link would bust your balls. It's really not that hard. Instead of saying "google it" it probably takes the same amount of time to do that then post the link.

I liked him in the preseason when he was in summer league.
I think he could provide a solid game for NY as a starter. I could see him posting like 9ppg, 4rpg and 3apg with solid defense. I don't know if he has the jumper and stuff to be really good and score more but I should find out early within the Toronto game.

landry has been named the starter for opening night. Alot of people on here(90percent) thought it was a horrible pick ( other than me and llperez off the top of my head) and so far he's proven his doubters wrong. I didn't think he would start day one but I knew he'd beat out Bill walker easily
