Corey Fisher scored 105 points in a game tonight...23 Three's
are you sure you werent watching the DaJuan Wagner highlight?
if this is true i dont care what everbody says this is unbelievable 105 thats to sick 23 3 pointers i want to watch this game. Its hard to score alot in streetball is more physical and people are ready to fight quick and 72 in one half omg espn need to show this game
well i didnt drop 105, but i played a good pickup game and my team was done 19-14, game to 21 all ones and twos. (im pg) my team wasnt doing jacksh*t, so the opposing team scores there 19th hoop, and the ball is inbounde to me, i come down i pull up an nba range 3, nothing but the bottom of the net. score is now 19-16. my team actually gets a stop. im feeling it, so i do the same exact thing, swish! 19-18 now. they than scored to go up 20-18. i try for a third time and guess what!... swi---all o you tht thought i was gonna say swish is wrong. i missed my team got he board though, and scored! score was now 20-19, somehow though they drove the ball straight to the hoop after a pick and lost, ugh i was sooo mad. but out of the 19 points my team had, i had 9. (3-5 on three's, 2-5 layups, 1-3 midrange =9) i played damn good
In a streetball game I played with 2 other users on this site (3 on 3 street league we played in) we won 32-30 and our top guy had 22 points 10 assists. That is pretty good.
Yeah it was crazy. He had our first 16, then rolled his ankle and stopped shooting basically. We were down 30-22 and we won off a 3 (technically 2) by my other teammate (nbanflguy).
It didn't take long for this thread to turn into "one of those," huh? My best game was in a rec league a couple of years ago. I went 10-10 from three, and 4-4 from the line. The only reasons I did so well were because I was being guarded by an overweight, 40-year-old man who would just hold his hand up when I shot, despite the fact that he was nowhere near close enough to me to contest my shot; I was actually able to keep my fingers spread when I shot the ball (very underrated aspect of shooting); and I held my follow-through on every shot.
it was funny at the end of the 3rd, he had like 74......they started double and triple teaming him, he was hitting fadeaway 3's all over the place, no chance at stopping him....
why are you guys keeping track of your stats during a pickup game? is this like your first year playing basketball?
LOL @ CALM DOWN
When should we get excited, he scored 100-plus. As a fan of basketball I would be lying about enjoying the sport if someone scoring 100 points did not excite me. I actaully thought this was a joke. Anyone who has played any type of organized ball needs to just stop and think about what it takes to score 100 points is one game.
-20 Minute Qaurters?
-5points per shot?
-someone added an extra "0" inbetween the real score "15"?
I really hope Ballislife or some site has these highlights!
how you guys keep youre stats. i know If I played good and its rare that i dont. The question is, how aggressive do I want to be, te mojority of the time i pass and just crash the boards extremely well because if I grab an O board it my ball to put back or create.
since we're on Fisher, the kid is a baller....his first 3 years really didn't show everything he can do....he had his little spurts, but now with Scottie off the team and he's the go to guy. I expect a lot.
Fisher scored 40 on OJ Mayo in HS, Mayo had 50 but Fisher's team won
Fisher also went to Compton and scored 35 on Brandon Jennings.
I'm glad he came to Nova, but if he was on a team where it could be all about him he'd be in the NBA by now imo.
also i'm going to upload some pics of the game later....
Fisher scored 40 on OJ Mayo in HS, Mayo had 50 but Fisher's team won
LOL.
Fisher is alright. He's 6-1, I didn't see any PG abilities from him. He needs to develop some to get into the NBA IMO
^^ only thing he lacked was a perimeter jumper....he's got a consistent one now. am I saying he's going to have 50 point games this year no....but he'll show out
This was a 3-on-3 game? smh....And you guys are going crazy.
College players get crazy stats in HS/pick-up games all the time. I'm not getting my panties in a bunch off of a 3-on-3 game, I'm sorry. He better be able to dominate next year too, he'll have the ball in his hands a bunch for better or worse. I'm not hating either, I have Fisher as a projected 1st team All-Big East guy next year, even though he's very wild and erratic. But you guys want people to go crazy over a 3-on-3 game that he should dominate? Silly.
Oh alright.
And yeah, Fisher isn't a great shooter by any stretch of the imagination in actual college games. He's a decent college shooter who is more of a guy who looks for his own shots rather than being a true PG.
Fisher is more like Kyle Lowry or even Eric Bledsoe. McClinton was strictly an undersized pure shooter, but Fisher uses his quickness/athleticism to score by slashing alot more.
nah, he shoots nowhere as well as McClinton....Jack is one of the best shooters i've ever seen, that's just all he really has that and a mean stepback...Fisher is a slasher as Iggy said....crafty dribbling, shot fakes and body contact
it is amazing but@Bryant have you ever played street ball?..its not hard to score in street ball..its harder to score in a real game. the defense isnt as tough because most players only care about scoring and youre not getting paid to do it. college players and pros play defense at 50 percent
^^^ it wasn't a "streetball" game....guess you've never seen a real summer league game in NYC alot of D is played....you can't live an asswhopin like that down in NYC especially in the BX
not only have i seen a street ball game ive played in one of the best street ball basketball tournament in the world (urbo coalition in washington dc.) where we have beat a couple of rucker teams that have come down. wheather its street ball or summer leauge defense is not at the level of college d or pro defense. player that struggle to score 10 points in a college game score 20-30 in summer leauge/streetball.....you really tryna tell me that a leauge wit teams scoring 120-140 is filled with defense?..riiiiiiiight...didnt say theres no defense just said its not 100percent get in youre face d.
Another reason its not played at a high level is because no one wants to get embarressed. even artest said defense at rucker isnt played at a high level
Corey is great player. He's been playing at a high level since he was a kid. While attending St. Patricks he didn't just go through the motions, he played ball and he started at one of the top schools in the nation where he consistantly played against the best in the nation. He could have went to any d1 school and started but he took a chance to learn from a great coach and play with a team that would always contend. I live in the Bronx so I know of his legacy and seen him play the 105 is unheard of. The Watson classic is a major tournament in NYC. Dnt take anything away frm his game and it's a 5on5 tourney FYI
^^ exactly they go hard at Watson, &$#%#&@! aint the same as Rucker. Watson is the hardest playing summer i've ever seen....this summer especially has been on fire
and gotcha stanford see what you're gettin at.
I still got the tape of Mayo vs Fisher, it's a classic
Your my homeboy & all but them comparisons aren't right for Fisher especially the Bledsoe comparison.
As I scrolled down and saw the name Jack McClinton...
Does anybody whats up with him?
Im assuming he plays overseas, but does anybody know what country?
Oh, and did he play for anyone during summer league?

&$#%#&@! was the craziest performance i've ever seen...he couldn't miss at all. in a 40 minutes game
it was in the Bronx at the Watson Tourney.
