It’s more Vinny’s fault. Gets out coached by Hollins and makes the wrong substitutions too often. Then they try a zone late which never works in the NBA and it backfired as Conley and Bayless made back to back 3’s to ice the game.

No more passes, no more excuses

Russell Westbrook is the best PG in the L, until proven otherwise.

    That is all.

Too bad Paul has to create for everyone while Westbrook plays/played with Durant, KMartin, and Harden. All of whom can create for themselves.

Now imagine Westbrook “leading” that Clipper team.

I know. They’d be a shoo in for the WCF. It’d be awesome to see that team with a PG who could run offense and a legitimate coach on the floor.

Better team won and that’s not cp3’s fault. Marc and zbo vs Blake and deandre was so lopsided it wasn’t even fair. Besides, Paul has advanced in the playoffs before with David west as his #2. Westbrook( who I have great respect for)has more help. Paul is still the elite pg to me. But he’s also far from perfect. He got caught ball watching a couple times tonight and gave up easy baskets.

CP3 has to win. Lebron was criticized for not winning, so was Melo, how does CP3 get a pass? He’s ELITE no question, that still doesn’t make it ok for him to lose.

Not like Westbrook has won anything either, so not sure why you decided to label him the best Point Guard.

Westbrook has a western conference championship and has actually reached the NBA finals. Cp3 should have this year

While I don’t agree with this post, I don’t think Chris Paul made his teammates better this series.

I thought Mike Conley did a much better job getting his teammates involved while also looking to take advantage of his own scoring opportunities.

I agree on Conley, but I don’t like Paul’s teammates either. I think he is playing heavy minutes with 2 guys that don’t know how to play basketball (Griffin & Jordan). They only get the run and jump part. Odom and Billups are past being finished in my opinion, at least as guys that are getting more than 10-12 minutes a game. Crawford and Butler are one dimensional players, with Butler being pretty much a spot up shooter and Crawford being one of the worst decision-makers at his position. Hill has been hurt a lot this year and never got in the rotation. Turiaf, Green & Hollins = bench fillers. I think that Barnes and Bledsoe bring the effort pretty well every night, but Bledsoe is behind your best player and if you play Barnes too many minutes Butler and Griffin are going to cry about it.

With all that said, the Grizzlies came out and punished them. The Clippers needed to play a team that wasn’t so gritty and mentally tough to get out of the first. The Clippers got exposed for being frauds.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens this off-season. Supposedly Griffin and Jordan don’t get along with CP3 anymore. It’ll be interesting to see how the front office handles that.

CP3’s assists were down this year in the playoffs but the man has arguably been the most efficient high volume scorer in the playoffs so far, and that’s all while being guarded by Tony Allen and Mike Conley. (narrowly beats out KD and Lebron because of his extremely low 1.5 turnovers per game)
