It would be easier to follow if you just updated the mock draft you made for the mock draft contest.

If I am New Orleans I look at Alex Len with their pick. Put him at the 5 and Anthony Davis at the 4 for a HUGE front line. Then they can use Ryan Anderson as a big 3 or off the bench as a top notch sixth man. Robin Lopez also adds depth inside.

I think that the Hornets are solid at point guard with GV and Brian Roberts. Anthony Bennett sounds good but a Bennett – Davis front line could be a little bit undersized.

I like the picks for the Grizzlies. Pierre Jackson sounds good for us, and I like Peyton Siva too, especially at 60 (he is a Grit ‘n Grind guy and he is also a Tigers killer which is what we usually draft), but I doubt we need both. I also like Christian Watford as a solid wing player with some range. Not a whole lot of upside but he looks like a deep bench guy to me. We really need a backup center, but if we get all three of these guys I would be pretty happy.

2 might be high for Trey Burke but I like the idea of Orlando going after its next franchise point guard. They already have Aflalo at the shooting guard spot along with some good front line guys. Burke is a good fit here and can learn from Jameer Nelson.

As a detroit fan, in that situation i feel we take Shabazz we need a franchise scorer, someone where they know every night that they can score, even if its just potential they need it.

So in the situation you have here is how i would pick for my pistons

    1st round: Shabazz
2nd Round bba (best big available)

    Knight – Stuckey – Singler – Monroe – Drummond
    Bynum – Shabazz/English – Shabazz / Middeleton – Jerebko/ Charlie V – Maxiell/2nd rounder/Slava

Is it the greatest, no but they are rebuilding and have to wait for Charlie V and Stuckey to come off the blocks before getting anyone serious.

As a sleeper MCW depending on where they are would fit great with Knight
