James-Harden-13Participanta lot of you on here say stephen curry is a sg in a pg body, and that he is not a true pg. then how is he 23rd in the country at 5.8 assists a game on a terrible team, that cannot catch his passes, while still leading the country in points per game? perhaps he can score and pass? gasp! and why is it that bobby knight said on espn that curry is the best passer in the country, does he know less than all of you? i am not quite sure. i mean he just won 3 national championships, and coached isiah thomas, he couldn’t possibly have any insight.

TimberTrollParticipantCompletely agree, I can’t wait to see this kid play with good teammates. Everytime I see him play I’m blown away with his basketball IQ. He gets a bad rep because he shoots a lot. Considering nobody on that team can create their own shot, him shooting a lot tells me that he simply wants to win and has the ability to carry his team. The Wolves need this guy.

jorrye24I never agreed with knight saying that, honestly. He is a point guard though, from what I can see. He has to be a volume shooter for davidson because they dont have a lot of talent (to be modest). There is no way that he is the best passer in the country though.

joecheck88Participanti know ill probably get killed for this but i see curry as a eddie house type player. maybe a little more explosive scoring. i see his career numbers being around 13ppg, and 4apg, as a sixth man.

TimberTrollParticipantCurry will have to make an adjustment from shooting whenever he thinks he can see the hoop, to shooting when he’s open. If he can’t make the transition, then he’ll probably be like a House. I think he’s smart enough and creative enough to be a good all around PG.

T.O-BALLER___I still have my doubts. remeber JJ Redick he was an unbealivable shooter but in the nba just an average benchwarmer. I love S.C but ill have to wait and see if hes the real thing or just a collage star..

A. StockI Can See The Similarities Offensively, Shooting Mainly. But House Can’t Dribble The Basketball For His Life, Meanwhile Curry Handles His Team’s PG Duties Mostly Out Of Necessity(and because he CAN play PG). And House Plays No Defense, So He’s Lucky He’s On The Best Defensive Team In The NBA. Curry Can Play, And I See Him Making A Decent Transition From College Scoring Dynamo To Shoot First Combo Gaurd In The NBA.

A. StockAnd There Are ZERO Similarities To JJ Reddick. Reddick Simply Took(and made) Shots Where Teams Didn’t Gaurd Him That Far Out(stupidly). He Couldn’t Dribble, Or Get Into A Defensive Stance For Longer Than 5 Seconds.

deuce4offCurry is nothing like JJ Reddick offensively, other than being a great shooter. Curry is quicker, a better ball handler, can create his own shot, takes people off the dribble, finish in traffic, gets to the rim, passes well with above average vision…..all aspects that the one dimensional JJ never grasped…and never will.

T.O-BALLER___I was just saying how he could be a potential Bust. I like him alot but i could see him being a good player but i can also see him not being a role/bench player

Clutchlevancehe is a great passer and i agree his teamates make some of the worst plays i think i have seen
he will be a good 1guard in the nba
every nba player will be able to catch his passes
and he seems like he will b picked mid 1st round so he will go to a decent team, like detroit where he can take over for a horrible AI and they can go for a championship after losing a great pg like chauncey0 - Posted on: Tue, 02/17/2009 - 11:58am #141913
jaaniParticipanthes a good fit for minnesota cuz they need a pg who can score and run the team
him and al thats sick0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/18/2009 - 8:08am #141962
joecheck88Participantits hard to compare him to someone in the nba. there just arent any guys that small but that can flat out shoot and score. he is better than eddie house but not as good as allen iverson. thats the best i can come up with. he will be somewhere in between those two careers.
