Not too much!
That is not too much for David Lee. He was drafted slightly higher than 28th but he is a proven player. No player that the timberwolves can get at the 28th pick will be as good as David Lee is in the next three seasons.

lock in a sign and trade?
Is it possible that the knicks can lock in a sign and trade agreement with minnesota regarding david lee for july 9th on draft night? that way all parties would be happy and the knicks could get curry and the 28th pick.

i say no...
no good deal for the knicks... curry isn´t worth giving up lee. minny would need to give more for him.
if they trade away lee for a pick then i say it has to be at least top 5. (but please no curry then!)

tell me what you think of this scenario. the knicks move up in the draft to 6 and sign and trade the rights to david lee to the timberwolves for the rights to draft stephen curry and the timberwolves 28th pick.
