Leonard WashingtonParticipantWho do you have winning? I have L’ville in my bracket winning it all and but with the star power of Trey Burke I can see Michigan taking it.
My predicted Final Score: Da Ville 73 Michigan 69

Memphis MadnessParticipantI am pulling for Michigan. More weapons. But, we will see.

B-ball fanParticipantMichigan. I think they are just playing at a little higher level on the offensive end right now. They just need to keep avoiding TOs and keep Louisville from getting it down low too often
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 3:33pm #761208
RafterParticipantI’ll take the Wolverines, I wonder what kind of performance McGary will conjure up and the pressure he’ll receive from an elite defensive team. Burke will probably have to don the cape once again because I can see the two sons being locked out of the game.

JM40ParticipantJust moved Spike Albrecht into my mock lottery, lol!
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 3:54pm #761221
Ghost01ParticipantI’d say Spike Albrecht picked a pretty good night to have the game of his life…
McGary has been huge contesting/not fouling at the rim.

but seriously dude is looking like the 2nd coming of Travis Deiner out there.

BigChamp12ParticipantNice looking jumper off the glass for McGary… If he makes a three pointer in this game. he’s a top 10 pick lol…
But seriously I think he has the attention of a lot of GMs

Forte IVParticipantSPIKEEEEEEE
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:12pm #761231
BigChamp12ParticipantI dont care what anyone says, THIS IS NOT LUCK! That kid can play and really has talent. Its shocking, maybe. But definitely not luck. He is strong with the ball absorbing bumps, an excellent shooter, crafty dribbler, with above average handles and a high IQ. Michigan looks like they have their starting PG next year!
Bold Prediction: SPIKE WILL PLAY PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL!
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:13pm #761237
FreelanceScoutParticipantHere’s the question Do you stick with Spike in the 2nd half over the wooden award winner?
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:14pm #761225
Raef LaFrentzParticipantI have Louisville in my bracket but this is some beautiful basketball I’m seeing from Michigan.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:14pm #761227
alingeParticipantGenuinely hate having to watch this game in the UK, Dick Vitale is commentating on ESPN international broadcasts and he is screaming Albrecht at the top of his voice every minute, so I’ve had to mute the noise so I don’t wake up everyone else in my house.
0- Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:07pm #761229
Ghost01ParticipantYou aren’t missing much from the US broadcast, hopefully someone will drop an alley oop soon so Clark Kellogg can comment about how “That could have been a dunk” Thank god for Steve Kerr he is trying to save this telecast.
0- Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:34pm #761246
alingeParticipantMuch rather be in the States now, I decided to turn the sound back on because I need commentary to enjoy the game and Vitale is screaming Hancock repeatedly at the top of his voice, so now if anyone in my house wakes up they will hear what sounds like “hand c**k” being shouted by an old man very loudly and enthusiastically.
I don’t mind Dickie V but at times I do wish he would lower his voice because even on the lowest sound of my TV he is ridiculously loud.

i’m jus so offendedParticipantThe amount of a$$ Spike could get before this game as compared to now and especially if UM wins, would make Wilt look like a prude

0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:22pm #761239
lockdownDThat play by Tim Hardaway jr. where he took it full court and scooped it, single-handedly just moved him a couple spots up in my mock..
.
That bank shot by Mcgary showed nice signs. I thought it was gonna be way off before I realized he was going glass.
His turnaround jumper from 13 feet also had a nice form, even though he missed.0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:25pm #761250
Forte IVParticipantNeedless to say, whoever wins. Either Hancock or Albrecht will be getting mass amount of pu$$y
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:26pm #761248
BigChamp12ParticipantI’m sure everyone agrees with me that this is the absolute BEST half of Basketball we have seen all season!!

McDunkinThis first half
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:29pm #761244
Raef LaFrentzParticipantOn a scale of one to ten my sadness rating is about a nine that Trey Burke still isn’t in the game.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:31pm #761253
B-ball fanParticipantSpike Albrecht actually has pretty sweet handles. He is probably handling UL’s ball pressure better than Burke would. Just one TO from what I saw, when Michigan’s spacing broke down a little.
This should be a good second half, though I think Michigan is the team more likely to continue its hot shooting.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:32pm #761247
torukParticipantThese game is special. Amazing comeback and the game is close again. We are all waiting for burke and russ smith and this is all about hancock vs albretch.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:37pm #761251
Raef LaFrentzParticipantI’m confused..
Every time Peyton Siva does something he looks like he’s a sure-fire pro.. except for the end result (usually). His jumper looks pretty good, but he isn’t a very good shooter. He’s fast as all-get-out and gets to the rim, but he isn’t the best finisher. He can find his teammates pretty well, but not consistently.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:41pm #761254
aamir543ParticipantEverybody has dreamed of doing what Spike Albrecht has done tonight. That was crazy, he’s playing the game of his life. But same goes for Luke Hancock as well.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:42pm #761261
FreelanceScoutParticipantRuss smith not starting in the 2nd half interesting
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:42pm #761262
AwardedBallerParticipantThey should make a cool ranch one.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:43pm #761255
doubledribblerParticipantI’m really liking McGary. Not going crazy and saying he is a future all star or anything, but he moves well at his size, doesn’t hesitate on open jumpers and has a good looking shot, moves feet well. My only concern is that his stock goes up so much that he gets stuck on a bad team if he comes out this year. I think he may be one of those guys that are really useful on a good team, but not so much on a bad one in the NBA.
Oh well, just happy to see a competitive college game with nice pacing.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:54pm #761263
B-ball fanParticipantI like Louisville going to Behanon. They really should exploit his strength advantage in the post whenever he isn’t defended by McGary. Michigan still shooting really well, despite the uncalled fouls.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 4:54pm #761264
lockdownDBehanan tried to back down Mcgary, he got bounced back like two feet.
He got the bucket with a weird floater, but he looked like a rag doll for a second there.0- Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 5:00pm #761267
B-ball fanParticipantYeah, but if that was Robinson III on defense, that move would have looked better.

Ghost01ParticipantThe refs have been terrible this whole tourney. No shock it hasn’t changed tonight.

kingofbumsParticipantrefs killing this game a bit
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 5:10pm #761269
Raef LaFrentzParticipantI wish this game would never end. Both teams playing like it’s their lives on the line. Really, this is what college ball is all about.

Ghost01ParticipantRuss Smith and Tim Hardaway having a brick laying contest
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 5:19pm #761271
lockdownDWHAT A DUNK! Woah!!
Jr. is taking huge advantage of the smaller Russ smith.
.Mich needs to keep Siva off the break, and boxout/ not allowed offensive rebounds. It’s killing them right now.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 5:24pm #761274
Ghost01ParticipantThese refs….are just beyond terrible. I litterally can’t wait for this game to be over so I don’t have to watch officials who have absolutely no clue what their own rules are and make calls that just defy logic.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 5:25pm #761275
Forte IVParticipantIm done with this game. How the hell is that a foul. These refs are terrible.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 5:27pm #761276
Ghost01ParticipantI feel like every boarderline call collegiate officials make are based on instincts. It looks like it should be a foul, the players are in position to be fouled, so lets call it. I will never question NBA officiating again after this tourney…until the Lakers shoot 75 FTs in their last game of the year to get into the playoffs…

NickWayne87ParticipantIs a nba all star waiting to happen. and yeah the refs are ruining an otherwise AWESOME game.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 5:43pm #761280
BigChamp12ParticipantToo many mental collapses for Michigan. You cant give up offensive rebounds and open jumpers
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 5:47pm #761278
Ghost01ParticipantMichigan’s rebounding in this game is just so bad.
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say this final four didn’t help the “Russ Smith, late first rounder” hype.
0- Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 5:46pm #761282
lockdownDThey were killing boards when Mcgary was playing! When he wasn’t, Mich got raped by offensive rebounds.
Siva creates offensive rebounds at will.
.
.
EDIT: How is that not a ‘over the back foul’ called on Louisville?0
- Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 5:48pm #761286
Forte IVParticipantCan’t blame Michigan when its 8 on 5 the last 10 minutes of the game
0- Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 6:02pm #761293
alingeParticipantCan just as easily say they wouldn’t have been there at all though if the refs hadn’t given them everything against Syracuse

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantlol, Pitino looked like he thought someone was going to shoot him
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 5:50pm #761281
Leonard WashingtonParticipantWhats up with all the questionable/forced shots? Milk the clock son you are up with less than 2 minutes left! Low basketball IQ for sure.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 5:54pm #761290
Ny2daDeathOFmeParticipantThis lose came down to them not being able to rebound and their interior defense. They were getting killed on the boards in the 2nd half and not to mention peyton Silva was getting to the basket with little to know trouble. I’ll say this though, I like Trey Burke he’s gonna be a stud and peyton Silva should get some looks at the next level he’s much better then he gets credit for.
It was a great game I enjoyed it.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 5:55pm #761289
B-ball fanParticipantShould have been a really great game, but my enjoyment of it was really diminished by the atrocious reffing. Just a crapshoot who wins when that is the case. Still, each team played great and hit huge shots.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 5:57pm #761285
Ghost01ParticipantMichigan really blew they outplayed Louisville so much…Beilien killed them. Didn’t need to sit Burke the last 11 minutes of the first, and didn’t need to sit McGary so long in the 2nd.
NCAA GET SOME NEW REFS FOR NEXT YEAR’S TOURNAMENT, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.
Also will be nice to see some more NBA talent in next year’s final four hopefully.
0- Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 5:54pm #761291

Steveni know spike alb. (dont know how to spell his last name) was shooting lights out in the first half, and really dominated that half, but i truly believe he was kept in too too long in the second half where he legit did nothing!
0- Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 6:03pm #761296
Ny2daDeathOFmeParticipantYeah, you could argue that ville had better coaching and rotation.
0
- Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 6:01pm #761292
Ghost01ParticipantUnintentional comedy moment of the night: With about 10 minutes to go, Siva fouled about 3 guys in a row, finally got called for the third, and Clark Kellogg argued it looked clean. Then Jim Nantz with the icing on the cake “Siva…with his first”.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 6:09pm #761298
McDunkinFor a second I thought they were about to say Kevin Ware won player of the game
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/08/2013 - 6:14pm #761297
akhan786ParticipantReally happy for Louisville and I wanted them to win it because they’re part of the ACC now.
But I can’t help to shake this feeling that the NCAA was never going to let the Ville lose after the Ware injury. Think about how much bank they made off of it…I bet TV ratings spiked even though the NCAA Tournament is one of the most watched programs in the whole world. Plus all the merchandise for Ware?
The NCAA knew they if they capped this Cinderella story with a Ville natty they’d squeeze every last cent out of it.
But oh well that was my conspiracy theory for the day aaaaaaand now I already miss college basketball ;(
