Damian Lilliard is Ice Cold!

Did anyone see Damian Lilliards game winner against New Orleans? Man he's the real deal; do you think he's having a better or similar rookie year to Kyrie Irving? How good can this guy be?

Was sick. He has so much poise for a rookie. I don't think we should compare him to Kyrie because 1) Kyrie is still two years younger than Lillard lol and 2) Lillard has a tremendously better supporting cast than Kyrie.

There is no need to compare the two anyways. I can't really think of any weakness that he has, but maybe it's he doesn't do anything exceptional? But I can definitely see him being one of the Top 5 PG's in the League in a couple of years.

Gave me chills when I saw it because it reminded me so much of Brandon Roy's buzzer beater a couple years back.

I wished he'd saved his heroics for a couple of minutes however and hit the game winner in overtime instead.

I needed one more rebound to win my fantasy :'(.

I'm a big fan of both and

I'm a big fan of both and wasn't necessarily comparing them; I was saying how he stacks up to kyries rookie year as both guards were not expected to come in and do this well right away

Yeah. Lilliard is a great replacement for Brandon Roy. He can light up the team knowing he is still a rookie.

His numbers are very similar

His numbers are very similar to kyrie's but Irving was slightly more efficient. Both guys will be top 5 PGs in a couple of years.

Lilliard has better rookie

Lilliard has better rookie campaign than Kyrie. Lilliard has Aldridge, Batum and some greatest guys but he still outshine them all. He is a promising superstar. He has to learn to share the ball more though because he is a point guard.

Someone on TV last week compared him to Billups...I can see why they said that,becuz for someone so young, he plays with so much poise and isnt afraid to take the big shot.....

i think even if davis dosnt miss any more games then lillard will still get the ROY..this guy is scary good..could be an all star in the next 5 years IMO

Love his game. I like the Billups comparison. He's not as good as Kyrie Irving though. Kyrie is still 2 years younger and has a nasty handle.
