paradigmnParticipantI’m sure most of you know who he his. If not, he’s a 6-9 SF from croatia who turned 17 in April. Aaron as well as many others have him highly rated. He recently played in the Nike World Hoop Summit. Despite being the youngest player there he played well with 7pts 6reb and 2ast in only 15 minutes of play. If you YOUTUBE the international world team practices he tears it up along with Bismack Biyombo. I found this video actually looking for a differnt game that just happend where another Croatian star MARIO HEZONJA went 0-15 shooting threes but still had 26pts and 23reb in u-16 croatian semifinal game. Hes in the video also wearing #11 throwing down sum nice dunks but the main reason for the post is for DARIJO. This dude can play. I really like watching him play the point foward position. Got to check out his dribble no look pass at around 6:35 in. DARIJO is #15…sorry about the music…you know how Europeans are…LOL…..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOLiNjtpfh4&wl_token=hKR6AkiW6buZ8I_ZYbJEQAFmich8MTMwNzM1MDE3OUAxMzA3MjYzNzc5&wl_id=QOLiNjtpfh4

butidonthavemoneyIsn’t it "Dario"?
Anyway, he’s a pretty interesting talent. I’ve had a few chances to watch him practice in person and he doesn’t stand out athletically, but he’s very cerebral in making plays for others and he’s already a gifted shooter. I wouldn’t call him a "point forward" yet as his ball-handling ability is unrefined — though certainly above-average for a 6’10" player — but he’ll definitely have a chance to be a lottery pick in a few years. Unique prospects like him are a rare commodity.

paradigmnParticipantwell…I just spelled his name the way it was spelled in the video….I never saw him play in person…obviously….I dont think him handling the ball as a "point foward" is a stretch…I wouldnt want him doing all the time of course, but he seems more than capable of doing it on occasion…ala TONI KUKOC.

butidonthavemoneyThat’s a fair comparison. Will be interesting to see how he develops.

butidonthavemoneyCalm down. You always act like you’re getting attacked when people are just trying to help you.
Every other source I’ve seen spells it [Player: Dario Saric]. I figured the "j" could just be a Croatian thing. It really doesn’t matter.

paradigmnParticipantDUDE…I knew youd do this…LOL…u r soo predictable…okay…here it goes…I make a decent post…first thing you say is criticize my spelling of DARIJO…lol…I let it slide…I say I just spelled it the way it was in the video…then you go ahead and drop the "I saw him in person" line implying u r BIG TIME…lol….i play it cool….keep writing…trying to be friendly….then IBJ critizes the spelling also…LOL…sooo…can I defend my spelling??? I think I can, and I did, but it wouldnt have even gotten to this point if you dont even MENTION the spelling…you just trying to give me a hard time….DARIO…DARIJO…honestly I can care less dude!!!

butidonthavemoneyI didn’t criticize your spelling. I asked you a question about it. And yes, I have a big ego and am predictable. Can’t argue with that.
But nobody’s trying to give you a hard time. Stop playing the victim.
Like you said, the spelling doesn’t matter. Just stop acting like I’m against you in some way when I’m not.

paradigmnParticipant2 post about my spelling…and getting negatives for trying to defend my spelling on top of our past conversations can seem like a little "nit picking"….it is what it is….I came here to talk basketball…not LINGUISTICS.

butidonthavemoneyI didn’t post about your spelling. I asked you which was the correct way. "Darijo" I was unfamiliar with, now I’m not. I guess both work. I’m glad I know that now. I’m not sure why you got negatives, because I gave you positives, but I doubt it had anything to do with your spelling.
Our past conversations had nothing to do with nit-picking. I was trying to warn you about the rules so you wouldn’t get banned from the site.
I’ll stop talking to you if you want, as it seems that I rub you the wrong way. Don’t let me get in your way of talking basketball.

lbj_6paradigmn I’m sorry if I offended you, and i don’t care wether we say dario or darijo. Darijo seemed unfamiliar to me but I learnt that it’s the croation spelling. However, thanks for the video.

Just giving you background info that Dario has been talked about on here for a while. Also, we got to see him play in the Hoop Summit, not to mention that Dr. Jacques Bailly aka "Don’t Scream" saw his practices (for those who do not get the reference, Dr. Bailly is the dude that reads out the words and definitions and such at the National Spelling Bee. Yes, I had to look this up, all in the name is hopeful comedy!). Dario is a very intriguing prospect, and appears to be in that Point Forward type mold. Was the youngest player at the Hoop Summit, and did not look out of place though did not do much to stand out. You could see he definitely had some skill though, and I do not doubt he will be a talked about draft prospect as early as next year, though 2013/2014 may be more likely.
I do not think you were trying to be malicious paradigmn, but you type in RANDOM capital LETTERS a lot and it can be CONFUSING to see your actual MEANING. I know you like typing PLAYER NAMES in caps, but some of your other words can be left to the imagination. Keep up the good work though, you are obviously a passionate fan and seem to try and do your research on things, well done. There is also a European Prospects (www.europeanprospects.com) site you might be interested in as well, similar to Eurohopes but with some different content and articles.
