JordoParticipantNon stop hate toward Wall. It’s disgusting
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/14/2013 - 1:28pm #747493
KayjayParticipantHe went in hardcore. Me? I’m not a fan of judging players until after they become a certain age. I mean who are we to tell when his jump shot will start to fall or when his team will start winning games.
The only thing I will agree with is the point with Kyrie irving. But again that just goes back to the fact that I think we overrate athleticism as a whole in the basketball universe.

Taylor Gang MikeParticipantFalk is just being Honest… AS OF NOW. I hope Wall proves him wrong tho in the future. Wall needs to get better, he was the number one pick

FastAndFuriousParticipant16,8,4!!!! Do people forget that those numbers are John Wall’s career averages!!!
With his game still having along way to go, he still got those numbers, which to me is Scary to think what Wall could do when he develops!

Taylor Gang MikeParticipantIts not really about Wall bro, its about the team and how he needs to be better. People need to look at REALITY. I love Wall, hes a great player, but not a great PG. What falk said about Kyrie is on point. And what he said about how only 9 teams have won championships is true. Im a basketball historian haha. I just look at REALITY. Wall can get those numbers, but will he lead his team to the playoffs next year? we will see I think he needs another superstar with him, prolly a big man.

FastAndFuriousParticipantKyrie is losing as well!!!
Kyrie is the better player true, but he’s losing, Kyrie needs everything Wall will need in order to start winning as well, and that’s new scenery or new teammates, point blank.

WolfRobParticipantIf Wall had played all year, the Wiz would be a .500 team and on track for the playoffs.

FastAndFuriousParticipantThe Wizards have a winning record and are clearly a better team since Wall has been back.

IndianaBasketballParticipantDamn… Why is everybody going in on John Wall lately? I don’t get it…

surveParticipantWall/Irving….we are talking about a guy in his 3rd year and another in his 2nd.
Who was better in their first 5 or 6 years? Bibby or Billups? Marbury or Nash? Kenny Anderson or Gary Payton? Kenny Smith or Kevin Johnson? In most instances, no one wouldve been willing to trade the former for the latter. Its not an indicator of how good players will be. Falk is a hater and doesnt know what the hell he is talking about. He will end up eating those words. Irving is better now, but it doesnt mean much until one of them starts winning. Regardless, what does Irving have to do with Wall? No one is disputing who is better between CP3 and DWill anymore.
Who knows how good Wall will or will not be? One thing is for sure, its ignorant to dismiss a player so early in his career.

princejamesParticipantThat was a unnecessary form of disrespect tours a player who is very talented. Yes kyrie is the better player, but john wall has more potential and upside. I don’t think that kyrie irving will ever be the defender, playmaker, and passer that john wall is. kyrie irving is a better scorer and shooter, but that’s it. If john wall develops properly he has the ability to achieve a level of play that is very similar to jason kidd and rajon rondo. As far as being a great playmaker, passer, and defender who can takeover with his scoring abilities when needed. The fact that washington is playing better with john wall back, let’s you know how valuable john wall can be.

beargar10ParticipantWall every game I have seen him play he works his but off. I see it fly right off. People are going too hard on him. He is a great player overall.

invalidParticipantfalk have watched things happen with his own eye. not just the highlights. not just the games. its coming from an nba agent. not just ordinary nba fan on the internet. has handeld over a hundred talents. unless he is just jealous which is why on the hell would he, or lying on the media which will ruin his career.
he is telling the brutal truth.
0- Posted on: Thu, 02/14/2013 - 7:41pm #747717
EntropyParticipantso you are saying he can’t improve significantly?
0- Posted on: Thu, 02/14/2013 - 7:57pm #747722
invalidParticipantwhere? where.. if he does then good for him. its not like he’s not supposed to improve. oh i guess we should check again after years when its already obvious right. how many years will you give him to prove his a star material? just answer. how many?
0- Posted on: Thu, 02/14/2013 - 11:12pm #747735
EntropyParticipantYou said “he is telling the brutal truth” so you agree with him. And he said he can’t be a franchise type of player.
He still can be IMO. I give a couple more years.
Words like “will not” and “cannot” should not be used in these situations, where the future is uncertain.
0- Posted on: Thu, 02/14/2013 - 11:39pm #747740
invalidParticipantlol ok couple more years like 3 more years? so ok a top 1 pick and 6 years to develop into a franchise player. lol ok goodluck to washington waiting for a couple of years to have a franchise player then.
.. yes i think he CANNOT, imo.
based on your logic, luke babbit still has a chance to be chris mullin type that he is projected to be? in your honest opinion?
how about jonny flynn? how many years will you give him? future is uncertain man..0- Posted on: Fri, 02/15/2013 - 1:35am #747748
EntropyParticipantYou have to look at the talent level of the players. Most people agree wall is more talented than guys like westbrook/irving. Flynn and Babbit don’t show any flashes of brilliance.
0- Posted on: Fri, 02/15/2013 - 2:05am #747750
invalidParticipantits easy to see flashes of brilliance in athletic players.

A Lil EnglishParticipantMay I ask… Do you still believe Beasley can still be a franchise type of player?

aamir543ParticipantHe’s right to a certain extent, but I still think Wall is a phenomenal talent and is at the very least going to be a borderline All-Star who puts up good stats(18 and 9) on a losing team.
