Just a quick survey on your take on this very young kid with oozing potential… I was just wondering what some of you think of his averages if he reaches his potential… His BEST possible numbers… will it be 17 and 8? 16 and 10? Just share your thoughts here.. Thanks guys…

Even IF Jordan reaches his max potential, I can’t see him averaging 17 points per game. He’s just not an offensive player other than dunks, lobs and putbacks.

IF he were to reach his max potential, I could see him averaging 11-12 points, 10-11 rebounds and 2-3 blocks per game. High FG%, but a low FT%.

10 to 12 boards and 2 blks per game…that’s nice for any Center in todays game…I’d like to see him get a bigger role…I know this is gonna sound random but The Clippers should look to move either Kaman or Jordan…The Mavs would Love Kaman and a few teams like The Sixers and Hawks could use a defensive Center to help their Frontlines…

    Trade Ideas…

Kaman for Ty. Chandler/ JJ Barea 2011 1st round pick…The Clipps clear Cap by moving Kaman and make way for the Griffin/Jordan front court and can possibly resign Ty Chandler next year…Barea becomes the solid Back Up Baron needs to stay healthy 82 games…They have Bledsoe and even Warren but they are young…

    D. Jordan for Thad Young …I love Thad Young and wouldn’t want to include him in any deal but getting a 10/10 and 2 blk starting Center with potential and youth would be interesting…It opens up a Starting Spot for Turner next to Iguadola and gives the Clippers the Offensive Sf they want to pair with defensive Sf Aminu…Although they have Gomes they would jump to add a young talent like Thad at the Sf spot…

D.Jordan for Marvin Williams…Horford needs to play Pf and they have to get a Young Defensive Center next to him…Marvin would be expendible because Josh Smith can slide back to the Sf and Joe Johnson can play Sf too when Crawford checks in…The Clippers get a young Sf that would open the lane up for Blake Griffin by stretching the defense with his 3 point ability…he needs a change of scenary..

Let me know what you guys thinks

The reason why I’m asking is I want to establish the potential of DeAndre Jordan in my video game…LOL… I want to make it a bit realistic and yeah, I have him averaged 15 and 8 so far along with 2.3 bpg… with the Bulls…(haha)… It’s crazy with what you could do in video games nowadays… But I don’t like UNrealistic happenings like Noah scoring 100 or whatever… I’m more like reliving fantasy with a simple touch of reality… Thanks

I’m playing with the Sixers and Warriors,,..

    Sixers Roster in my Franchise…

    Starters

Holiday-Turner-Thad Young-Jared Sullinger( 3rd pick in the Draft )Greg Oden.. I traded Iguadola and future 1st rounder to the Blazers for Oden, Fernandez and Batum)

Bench-Lou Williams traded for Mike Conley to play Point Guard…Rudy plays back up Sg…Batum is the stopper at Sf…Brand is my 6th man and 3rd big man off the Bench…Speights and Hawes spell Oden to protect his knees through out the season at Center…I basicly traded Iggy to the Blazers for some bench depth and Oden…Traded Lou Williams for a true point guard on the bench…and Drafted the tough nosed Ohio State Pf over Enes Kanter

    Warriors Roster in my Franchise…

Curry- JR Smith ( Free Agency) Perry Jones ( 2nd Pick in the Draft ) D.Lee and Beidrins…

    Bench

Corey Fisher( 2nd round pick ) Monte Ellis ( 6th man ) D.Wright…Ekpe Udoh (stopper) Aaron Gray (bench Center)

JR and Perry give the Warriors fire power along with Curry and Ellis…Lee,Beidrins and Udoh do the dirty work…

Marcus Fizer I hoped you edited him before you went in your association mode because 2k robbed him of his dunking, and speed ability.

Jordan is only 22 or 23.  Last years preseason playing 18 minutes a game in 8 games he shot the ball 32 times and made 28.  Good for 10 points a game and 88% FG.

Jordan needs time, he averages for fouls for every 32 minutes but also 10 points, 10 boards, and 2 blocks shooting well over 60%.  And the more experience and court time he gets the less fouls he will commint.

I think Jordan can peak at 16 PPG, 12 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks.  He isn’t as a bad on offense as you people think.  Yes I have saw him play.  He has a few moves which he don’t get the chance to use often he just needs more playing time.  Jordan is strong and can spin off defenders with one trouble and dunk on everybody.  He got a nice lil baby hook.  And he is so good at rebouding and dunking he can get 10 points a game just off hitting the glass and grabbing ooops.  I think he is the perfect compliment to Blake Griffin down low.

So the Clips need to trade Kamen for Iggy and Hawes.

@trinajoe thats because his shooting tendancies are too low and so is his dunking ratio.  If Jordan is on the court long enough to get 12 rebounds i can guarantee you he will be getting atleast 12 points too.  He isn’t Ben Wallace he has more offensive skill then that.  Even Chandler averages 10 points.

I’ve seen very lil improvement from
him in the time he’s been in the NBA his basketball IQ is low he’s foul
prone. bad footwork and lack of offensive game outside of dunking. Sum say “if given a chance”but he’s been given chances and still produces a lil bit with a couple if good games here and there. He’s probably gonna be another Chris wilcox/Dan gadzuric like I said two years ago

As far as potential goes you have to look at not only the subjects ahletic potential, but his IQ potential, and his skill potential. His athletisism is through the roof but Jordan will never have the understanding of the game, and skill necassary to match his athletisism. Although if put into the right system and given a great amount of confidence, with a bit of experience he could be a double-double type guy with 2 blocks.
