RObin PadillaParticipantDo you guys agree with Mark Jackson that Denver Nuggets played dirty and tried to target Stephen Curry? I saw one play that I maybe was dirty when Faried tried to trip Stephen Curry. It’s playoffs basketball play hard and physical IMO.

IknoBall12ParticipantI think coach Jackson was just sending a message to the referees to look out for his guys. He may ge fined or whatever but he was just being a good coach and putting a message out there. I highly doubt Jackson really believe any of that was dirty play. Hell think of the kind of PG mark Jackson was back in the day and you know he doesn’t believe it

ReactionParticipantThis might just be my opinion but I believe in hard clean basketball. Nothing dirty.. nothing trying to hurt another player or target a player’s injury prone spot. Denver repeatedly (Faried) targeted Steph’s ankles, which are his known achilles heels. That is something that should not be allowed. I’m all for hard basketball, but just not basketball that could jeopardize a player’s career.

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantMark Jackson is just trippin because he knows Steph curry’s not built for the long haul

FastAndFuriousParticipantYea, man it was clear Denver was on some dirty stuff, they kept targeting Steph’s ankles, like everyone don’t know that’s being done on purpose, but if the Refs don’t stop it or Stern steps in and stop it, Denver isn’t going to stop and they shouldn’t they’re trying to win.
In no way am I saying it’s right, because im hoping Steph drops 40 tommorow night and gets Denver outta there, but at the same time if Denver is allowed dirty play why stop?

BenchWarmerParticipantIts a ploy coaches use to try to get refs on their side. George Karl has done it, Phil Jackson has done it, a lot of coaches have done it. But there is truth to what he says.
I dont like players trying to injure eachother but personally id rather see borderline dirty basketball then supreme physical men flopping around like girls..0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/01/2013 - 1:13pm #767872
RObin PadillaParticipantI think this is all because Stephen Curry is on a good one right now. He is too comfortable out there on the floor and I think Denver is trying to change that and play him more physical. I do agree with Shaq though, take it as a compliment and take it to them the next game!
