So I read the article earlier about sleepers, and well let me just say this kid has the tools to be a good ball player. In the Xavier system there really isn’t an opportunity to excel individually, but he still had standout games. I’m not saying this kid should be a lottery pick but he would be a nice pickup for any late 1st round team. I believe this kids ceiling is a Trevor Ariza with a mid-range game. He may never meet that but he has the size and energy to be that kind of player.

Derrick Brown is special. I think he could be a very solid player. He could be a solid #2 option if he works on his Offense.

watched this kid in college, poor mans Josh Smith… long, athletic can jump out the gym and strong as an ox, benched 185lbs 20 times, 3rd most at the combine after griffin and harangody

Naw, I do think Brown would be a good bench player though. He is long, athletic, and strong but he doesnt have much in terms of offense. Trevor Ariza is a solid comparison. He seems like a Brandon Rush to me.
