Chauncey Billups really outplayed Chris Paul in this series. I know Chris Paul is gonna be great but Mr Big Shot dogged him for most of the 5 game series

yea i saw that. i knew it was gonna happen becuz yes cp3 is good but i just felt that chauncey was too big and too real for cp3. the nuggets were physical wit cp and it kind of threw him off his game. another reason i feel he is not the best pg in the league

While Paul got outplayed it did not prove that he isnt number 1. Look at the squad hes playing with…hilton armstrong, a dilapidated Peja. david west is the closest thing that he has to a scorer. denver defense has been elite all year long. the series has instead proven that the nugz are for real and the impact that Big Shot has had on both ends of the floor

Even though Billups stopped CP3 most of the time,
CP3 is stll the very best PG in the league.

Remember how Raja Bell stopped Kobe during the playoffs, Kobe struggled against him but we still consider Kobe as one of the best 3 players.

I agree CP3 and D Will are the two best. Billups has never gotten the credit he deserves. At this point in the careers the nuggets got the better player in the deal with Detroit

CP3 needs a new supporting cast. West is good but his D is average, Butler shooter, Stoi shooter, Chandler hurt. Their D is lackluster thts why their home. But who you taking for Mavs < Nuggets I'm betting on.

Yup, his teammates don’t bring much to the table but credit Billups for a great series.

I dont think Billups really slowed down chris paul, I think chauncey just played better like the veteran he is. With the size and strength and the ability to pretty mich pull up from everywhere helped his nuggets win the series. Chris Paul Playes well actually, but does not even have nearly a better team than he had last year, and really the only offensive threats on there team is paul and west.

Come on now people you can’t compare someone playing well on a good team and someone failing to carry a team like he has been doing the whole year. Billups did make Denver better but the Nuggets was a quality team before the trade but Billups was a better fit and also brought leadership to a club devoid of it. Hornets talent wise are weak and last year they overachieved with no bench but pargo who they let go.

That would be a good idea is any of those teams had the money because Paul will not get traded out of New Orleans. they may get a new coach though. Byron Scott can only be with a team a few years before they need to get rid of him.
