cuseflynn10ParticipantThe most recent news article on this site reads:
Waiters: ‘It felt like we were playing 5-on-8′ ; Source says it was his final game at Syracuse
Now I’ve heard conflicting reports all day about whether or not he is declaring or staying put. But it sure would be nice if people took advantage of the technology available instead of what other people are saying. If you just look at his twitter, it says, "If you haven’t heard something come out of my mouth it’s simply a rumor…"
Now that doesn’t mean he’s staying at Cuse or declaring for the draft. All it does mean is some reporters need to do more research before reporting stories.
As for what I think he should do, I think he should stay for 1 more season to get a full starting season under his belt. He’s ready for the NBA, but could improve his stock with 1 more season at Syracuse. He could be a top 10 pick in 2013.

Wahoo757ParticipantCbs sports and nbc sports have alread stated that Dion Waiters will definitely not be coming back next year.

cuseflynn10ParticipantThis topic is supposed to mainly be able Dion reportedly declaring for the NBA, but it does mention it was a 5 on 8 game, which it arguably was. For the most part the refs called a good game, except all the touch fouls they called. There was 67 foul shots in total, FORTY-TWO were for Ohio St. I wish they would let the players play more, especially in a college basketball tournament. That game was basically decided at the free throw line. Ohio St. got SEVENTEEN more free throws than Syracuse. With Ohio State shooting 73.8% from the free throw line, you could argue that’s 13 extra points they got.
Obviously, most games one team fouls more than another, but to give OSU 17 more free throws is a little ridiculous.

cuseflynn10ParticipantCan you put the link down for me. I want to see if he was quoted at all in those articles. I’ll believe it when I see it, but for now check out his twitter:
http://twitter.com/#!/dionwaiters3
To me, it sounds like he hasn’t decided yet.

Wahoo757ParticipantI’m sorry I forgot to post the link on my last post. Here it is: http://collegebasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/03/25/report-dion-waiters-leaving-syracuse-will-enter-nba-draft/
Very unofficial, but Dion will probably end up declaring.

TheArtistPaysthePriceParticipantI don’t know about the lottery but I know if I were Terance Ross, Rivers or Lamb, I wouldnt work out with him at the same time for teams in the lottery. He is a grown man and he did get jobbed on alot of calls. It stopped him from building momentum and he is a emotion/confident guy, so thats important for him. I am a devout OSU fan also, I can tell u the games of the whole bench, even though the Ohio State’s 7 thru 11th men are only a myth. The ref’s were bad all around though and some of those foul decepensy is from Cuse fouling at the end. They got like 8 to 10 fouls in the last 3 minutes on purpose. Waitors perticularly got hosed though, I reluctantly admit. I wish he could fall to the Cavs with the Laker’s pick but its No Way he lasts that long, he’s mini tough juice. He and Kyrie’s driving and finishing ability would be tough to stop.

M-EazyParticipantWaiters has nothing left to prove in college unless he wants to come back to show how he could average 22+ as a starter. If he comes back he’ll be on everybody’s preseason all american list and will be in the running for player of the year.
