It’s been said many times that big men are not nearly as marketable as guards because their size creates too much of a disconnect with fans. Does Lebron face that challenge too to some degree? There are a hundred reasons why someone may not like Lebron, but all else being equal is Lebron too big to ever be as marketable as Jordan or Kobe? Was Lebron doomed from the start to never reach that highest tier of popularity?

At at least 6-8 and over 240 lbs Lebron James is bigger and stronger than many power forwards.
